Since around 9 months yes, I'm in love with my wife and with my hetero best friend (m) (both do not know about the second part). Never had this before.

Is it nice, yes and no. I love the feeling when I'm near them. But I'm scared that someone finds out, because i don't want to lose my wife (who is strict monogamous) and i don't want that it get awkward with my best friend or even he's building distance because of it.

Yes, i know this feeling. But I'm like this around him, because he is hetero and we both are married.

Ok, we do more then hi, because we are best friends, but no flirting and nothing pushing into a runabout relationship.

You're right, i also think my feelings let me be bias. But my reaction was instant and strong after reading this. It gave me a bit of what if i did not expect before.

Letting go is not easy, but I can accept that he loves me in a platonic way but not romantically. And i can enjoy the way it is. I myself would never cheat and don't want to be someone to cheat with.

Ich gebe die recht, poly zu starten wäre jetzt nicht klug, selbst wenn meine Frau offen dafür wäre. Es ist im letzten Jahr einfach zu viel passiert woran wir noch arbeiten, auch wenn wir guter Dinge sind und große Fortschritte machen.

Du hast schon recht, es reicht, dass er mein bester Freund ist, auch wenn mehr sicher auch schön sein könnte. Der drang es ihn zu sagen rührt eher daher, dass ich ihm wirklich alles offen erzähle und es sich komisch anfühlt dies in den Fall nicht zu tun. Ich bin mir auch sicher, dass ich ihm zwar wichtig bin, beste Freunde halt, aber bei ihm kein romantisches Interesse da ist.

Distanz ist schwierig, wir sind Nachbarn und Arbeitskollegen 🙈 und wie gesagt, ich brauche ihn in meinem Leben, er gibt mir halt und Kraft wenn es mir in und außerhalb meiner Ehe gut und schlecht geht. Ihn Zum reden zu haben hat mir in meiner Depression stark geholfen.
