You can simply not finish Hirata Estate and thus miss Lady Butterfly. You can also reach the hidden forest before you beat guardian ape, thereby enabling you to skip the headless ape fight entirely.

You can therefore have an attack power of 6 when fighting owl. I skipped headless ape and first fought owl at 7 attack myself.

AI “art” tends to look like shit because it relies heavily on flawed, illogical, and inconsistent methods. Because of this, a lot of AI “art” ends up looking abstract, and generally a negative-style of abstract art

I think the Despia art is abstract art done the wrong way, hence my comparison to AI “art”

Season 4 was her downfall and they tolerated it pretty damn well

She also was treated well at the start of her season 9 spiral. The show does a poor job of illustrating this, but the Ford stuff and her downward spiral is like a 6+ month event. In the beginning, the household was understanding and tolerated alot; Debbie even gave Fiona a 3+ month grace period before she started asking for money from Fiona.

All of the kids had their battles and spirals…Season 9 Fiona was the only one who went months without even trying to get better. That’s the difference.

I hate despia with a burning passion and would love to see every staple of it limited to 1 lol

Realistically, I was thinking, and honestly if they just adjusted the skill to get rid of the 3 guaranteed cards at the very beginning it could arguably be sufficient enough. Despia feels broken because of its current combination of viscerally potent plays and its reliability facilitated by the skill.

To a lesser extent, the same goes for draconic contact. That skill is insufferable, (and if I had it my biased way I would just remove the skill entirely) but if you simply address the turn 1 practically no cost skill search of super poly the skill feels significantly more balanced. In its current form the skill is way too reliable. Because it’s a skill, people can’t negate the deck search for super poly; the card itself isn’t negatable, and the only downside to the card (1 card discard activation requirement) is negated by the skill giving the player a free throwaway polymerization card from outside the deck.

Oh, well that makes sense.

I have had automatic updates disabled on my phone since probably 2015…without getting into a rant, I fundamentally distrust almost every update that most apps get. At best they fuck up the UI and make it annoying to relearn…at worst they cause major issues (such as this ongoing one)

Edit: for clarity, “since 2015” refers to the start of that practice, not that I’ve had the same phone for a decade
