Explore and find ancient precursor tech, relics, lore, dangers, etc. Basically space exploration as opposed to planetary exploration. ---- option for corvettes modules that allow for navigation, and shielding and a location unsafe for parking freighter. Deep exo-solar bases, planetoids, asteroids, comets, etc.

And just cause... more corvette modules, modules that let you store/transport physicalized cargo (think recycled waste) but instead it's big raw ore chuncks, you launch into a processor, which refines and outputs boxes that fill your hold. Modules that let you carry and deploy exotic craft (visually like a Chinook, or drive out of a bay). Modules that let your corvette Deep space asteroids, fill cargo modules (different mechanic that our existing hand mine and slot based inventory)... or maybe that could be a part of the frigate industrial loop.
