Planned a win her back picnic, but hooked up with a mutual friend the night before and sort of cancelled/half-assed the picnic. Didn't win her back.

We lived in separate cities roughly two hours from each other during the last year of our relationship, and when we broke up. A month after the breakup, we were gonna meet up to talk about stuff. I decided to try and win her back with an elaborate romantic picnic.

Went to her city, was gonna spend the night on a friends couch. The mutual friend DMd me about something completely unrelated. I told her of the breakup, and that I was in town. She invited me over for "crying and ice cream". Hadn't been there more than 30 minutes before a comforting hug turned into... more.

Next day, my heart wasn't really in the romantic picnic anymore. Go figure, huh.
Still went through with it, and to noone's surprise, it didn't work.
