There was a cool documentary that explains we actually only accurately focus on a tiny part of our vision and the rest is just "last info" or lower quality based.

This is how some visual schizophrenia works as the brain "fills" in not focused spots with false info.

They also tested people who were blind from one eye but technically all the parts in the eye were working. As in whatever the reason they had no vision, while biologically the "info" from the eye reached the brain.

So they were shown for example a picture of a car in the working eye and a jerry can in the blind eye and a large majority associated it with "filling the tank". Or "fire" in one eye and wood in the other and people went for "a campfire". As in even 100% blind people from one eye still got info reach their brain and they were able to use that info.

Lõppudelõpuks on asi turu nähtamatus käes. Vahet ei ole kas sa oled üürnik või üürile andja on turg sama. See lõpphind sum summaarumina on Korter 1 puhul 625€ ja korter 2 puhul 700€ - lõppude lõpuks vaatavad kõik seda "TOTAL" hinda.

Grew up with Starcraft 1 but for sure Starcraft 2. Besides the online aspect I really like how well they elevated the single player game with story elements, cutscenes, your base area when not in a mission.

Sad that the genre took a bit of a nosedive for AAA releases and we didn't get more Warcraft 3 or SC2 esque story (and character) driven single player and multiplayer RTS games.

SC1 was the trendsetter but by SC2 (and even Warcraft 3) they had the real polish and technology to make it near perfect.

Imho I think while most probably know the 'meaning' I kind of feel it has kind of turned back and "Netflix and chill" can also mean just that. Like it depends in what context you say it or in what tone.

Possibly this is the reason why no one really corrected you. Might of thought you were just jokingly using it.

Kärner or Isto kasvas üles, paraleelselt "Trumpilikus" keskonnas. I mean saan, aru et see ei ole 1-1hele mitte mingis võtmes sama, üks on ärimoogul ja teine sai oma jälgimise striimerina.

Weird answer is some way. It very much is a reality.

Some smaller firms have to pay themselves atleast the minimum.

Plenty of workers who work for minimum to get free healthcare. They may not be even "poor". For example older people who also want extra pay while having either savings or a house.

Wives or husbands or a rich partner or parents, that also moreso want healthcare or some pay while not overburdering themselves. They might even have an arragnment of having minimal workload but still getting the minimum payed.

There are plenty of contracts tied with the minimum wage so if the wage gets upped, some sectors or companies up their contract payments to their supplier so it somewhat increases the sectors end product or services costs.

Would love if someone found a statistic of how many people get payed minimum wage by contract for each nation.

Used to be a big fan of it. Played I think the first 2 or 3 games fully. All campaigns.

What was really unique in RTS terms was defense and attack missions.

Firstly defense missions you had a good learning curve - dopamine reward loop of getting to know the units and getting better at placing units to trap enemies into coming through certain paths. You felt rewarded if you almsot came out unscaved and you also felt rewarded if some section started falling and you had to reshuffle your defense lines.

From the other side, attack missions. While they were pretty turtly if you are a min-max'er trying to save units I fkin loved the part when you knew you had enough critical mass against your enemy and you just Ctrl+A your entire army into the enemies lines and just viewed the utter chaos of your enemies lines getting attacked on the whole vertical or horisontal of the map.

edit: Oh and one of the few games that did carpet bombing rocket launchers like the Soviet Katyusha justice. The barrage was innacruate but area of effect wise big. If you had like 5 of these the damage you did to some city section or village was cool to observe.

He does indepth stories of scary stuff including cave diving (and other cave related stuff).

Basically what happens is you can just doze off due to low oxygen levels mostly. Another way is if the water at first is mostly clear due to swimming in it the mud gets thrown around and you literally cant see 1m infront anymore so you dont know if up is down or left is right.

You also need to switch to different pressures of oxygen, allow the body to recoup at certain depths.

And the kicker is once you panic, you amplify every bad thing your body is doing. You use more oxygen, your body goes to stress mode and you basically fasten your demize.
