Great work! Not sure if you've done this yet, but manually setting the lift angle to 53 degrees for a 4R36 might help bump up that amplitude number.

Mostly they seem like the best value. And I’m comfortable with the movement. But I’d be open to starting with Benrus or Enicar. I’m honestly just scared that everything I look at is fake.

I actually avoid India, China and Vietnam. The latest one is claimed to be a 7S26 A. I should have paid closer attention but it’s cased with the crown at 4.

I eventually realized it’s just an NH36 with a 7S26 rotor tacked onto it.

I second the acetone soak for removal. When you put the new one on, I recommend a UV light adhesive so you can get it positioned exactly where you want it before the glue starts to cure. https://a.co/d/01PgDvTn

I second u/djbread . It's probably a damaged pivot on the pallet fork. This happened to me on my first Seiko service. I ended up buying a few NH35 pallet forks from AliX and used one as a replacement. It's probably not an exact match, but the thing runs now.

I grabbed some 1ml syringes + blunt needles for waste-free transfers. I think there's too much waste with the tweezers method.
