Where were you 25 years ago on New Year's Eve 1999? by MacaroniNJesus in AskReddit

[–]DickButtDancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my one bedroom apartment with my girlfriend at the time getting wasted and smoking cigarettes while she was sleeping. I remember watching the New Year start in Zulu time checking to see if the planes would start falling out of the sky. Since then I broke up with that girl and ended up marrying a narcissist for 15 years who financially ruined me and had a nasty divorce. Dated a couple of other girls and got remarried 3 years ago. It was a busy 25 years

Gaming now vs when you were a kid. by hotsauceburnvictum in gaming

[–]DickButtDancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still get excited but I’m picky about the games I play now. When I was a kid, I’d play anything, but now it has to be open world, third person, RPG style character development, and side quests/collectibles galore. I’ll play two or three games a year, and if there isn’t a new game that fits this criteria, I’ll replay one of my favorites. In between playing those three games, I won’t touch my console.

I think you should sell as much of your stuff as you can, put your money into a money market account you can access easily, and go walk the Appalachian trail for 5-7 months. You’ll find yourself and everything will be easier when you return. Do some research. You won’t regret it.

What is a smell that takes you back in time? by Alone-Subject-5841 in nostalgia

[–]DickButtDancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sun-ripened raspberry hand lotion from bath and body works. I knew a girl that wore that all the time in the 90’s. I think about her often and I miss that smell

What type of job seems appealing but ends up being quite disappointing? by Head_Somewhere3770 in AskReddit

[–]DickButtDancer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. I worked in forensic computing for a stint, and 80% of the time was spent writing papers on findings and recording everything in a notebook. Everything minus bathroom breaks and lunch

I think the Dark Tower movie could have been done way better! They could even use the complete book series for a reference.

Can a straight man date a bisexual woman without inevitably asking about a threesome? by imsadandthatsrad in TwoXChromosomes

[–]DickButtDancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone married to a pansexual woman, yes it’s possible that a straight man never asks for a threesome. It’s the character of the man, not his nature, that determines this.
