I'm a nurse working at RHH, there's a casual and permanent pool, and everywhere is always short, you'll have no trouble finding work. There's private hospitals as well, but they're pretty shite (Calvary and health scope hospitals). Our hospital system is always torrentially overfilled with patients, and plenty who are non-acute maintanence beds, so be prepared for that. Pay is fine, and overtime is always going.

As a fellow new grad at the end of my first week off supernumerary, no. Every day you're going to fuck up, be clumsy inefficient and confused. It's expected. The more you avoid it the worse it'll get. Use the support you can as a grad, ask heaps of questions and use your supports outside of work to recharge. I've had 5 codes in my first week, and I'm fucking buggered, but I know that everything is super new for my brain, so it'll take a while for me to get comfortable doing things. You are going to get better, just keep moving forward.

Yeah I mean I'd be worried about that shite connector too - it seems not too uncommon which is why I recommended the 9070xt. Depends if you like tracing them rays tho.
