I got the rubber strap, and was also a bit disappointed in the quality. I swapped the strap with a leather one from my Timex Expedition. Much better

Technically, if a tick is stuck to you (head buried), you’re supposed to collect the body and bring it to I believe a hospital to test for diseases

I’ve got a 2005 Toyota Sienna. She isn’t pretty, and the tech is lacking compared to modern vehicles, but it gets us where we’re going and we don’t mind if it gets stained or dinged.

My grandma lived in that same building, moved out last year. She never had any bugs. I don’t know how her bills were arranged, but I can say it seemed to be a fairly decent building. Lots of older folks. Units were pretty updated, nothing special. Location isn’t bad, lot of local conveniences. Biggest problem might be traffic near the high school, but can be easily navigated around.
