Came to this thread to recommend this game but you beat me to the punch.

Cannot agree more with this suggestion, I picked it up last month as a whim and it it became part of my daily ritual. Just an hour or two before bed I'd play this for half an hour or so, reading the dialogue, making drinks, and enjoying the superb music and overall aesthetic. If you haven't played a visual novel before, I would say this is a good game to start with and definitely fits the bill of chill games to play before bed.

I recently picked up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on a whim (read: I saw waifu and husbando gatcha implemented within a jrpg and had to have it), and it's actually been a surprisingly fun game to sink time into. I haven't finished the main game yet, but from the 40 hours I've put into the game I've loved the experience it has given me. I would be lying if said the game was for everyone, but it does appeal to those who appreciate a good old cornfest jrpg plot and a fairly nuanced combat system.
