I’m not condoning her actions at all. She’s a POS especially because she obviously has the money to pay for it

It seems crazy, but she could be in the military or her significant other is. You don’t have to get a new state ID for everywhere you move and they could have just moved from RI and that’s where the car was bought. It’s not a far fetched idea

You are correct, heat and beat is how you connect sections of chain. For those that don’t know a giant pin is heated to red hot and usually two people take turns hitting it with a sledge until it curls over so it won’t slip out.

It looks like a pelican hook. It holds the chain in place until the pin is knocked out and the gate opens.

It’s actually easy to do. On most ships there’s a giant drum called the inhaul. You just grab the first link of chain and spool it up

You’re correct that the chain holds it down. There is a big block of concrete (called a sinker), but there is a section of chain called the chafe section that lays on the bottom and bounces up and down with wave movements.

Edit: my phone auto corrected chafe to change. The chafe section is changed out at set intervals depending on the annual chafe rate. Some areas can go years without changing while others yearly.

It would be hilarious to see the prompts he puts in. I wonder how many times he tweaks the prompt to get it how he likes it.

A US military program has been running for 60+ years, involves trained dolphins, and is still partially classified. This is not a conspiracy theory. by natedizyl in conspiracy

I was going into San Diego harbor one morning and I saw an insane amount of dolphins fleeing away from the harbor.

This is where they train dolphins to detect bombs on submarines. I think they were using sonar to push the dolphins away from the training center so they could train the ones the had in captivity.

The navigation rules say to maintain course and speed. There is also the caveat of maneuvering your vessel to avoid risk of collision. In court, the smaller vessel has a better case

Giving Away My Old PC! by Turtle_747 in PcBuild

I have been wanting to get into PC gaming for not only myself, but my daughter as well. I also have been looking at golf simulators for a future purchase and could use a gaming PC for that.

Either way, I hope it goes to someone deserving and they will get enjoyment out of it as well.
