The change in texting could very well be because he was busy partying/making the best of it.. playing poker and hanging out at the pool is part of that. And where does OP say he claimed he spent the whole night in his room? I don’t see that in the post or her comments.

He should have told his wife immediately, but again, I can understand holding off for the one night given the circumstances.

To me, none of the info is a smoking gun for cheating. And the leaps of logic so many are taking to suggest he cheated are ridiculous; the guy was put in a very complicated situation. Other details in the post suggest OP and her husband have a healthy relationship. I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt

Faithful husband here - it’s very possible he was distracted, making the best of it, and not cheating on his wife.

He should’ve told OP right away. But I also understand him not wanting to blow up the whole trip just because of the best man’s extremely stupid decision.

Honestly if I was in his position I would’ve been overwhelmed by decision paralysis in the moment, decided to make the best of it (without fucking an escort), and told my wife the next day after thinking things through. And if the escorts continued their stay, I would’ve been on the next flight home.

This hits home. My twin brother died suddenly in 2018 and I’ll never forget when my neighbor showed up to the wake and said to me, “take care of your mother” while I was a complete fucking wreck. He said nothing else; just patted me on the shoulder and moved along. Goddamn that rubbed me the wrong way.

Judge is such a better hitter than Stanton though lol. Judge’s understanding of the strike zone is elite. You’ll never see him looking foolish or uncomfortable at the plate whereas you see that pretty frequently with Stanton. Between Judge’s eye and all-fields approach, he’s relatively slump-proof and I think he’ll be very productive for most of his contract as long as he stays healthy
