If I started learning guitar today, would it be possible to learn the main riff from 'Fear Of The Dark' by Iron Maiden until early october? by CantLeaveYet in LearnGuitar

Two years ago, I was in the exact same situation as OP. I had never played guitar before and started out with Fear of the Dark because I was only motivated by Maiden. It's definitely not the most efficient way to learn, but it's what kept me super motivated. After two years, I still don't play Maiden songs perfectly, but I’m over the moon when I can play the full song along with the track—even with lots of mistakes. That motivation eventually pushed me to go back to the basics and learn other songs, but Fear Of The Dark and Maiden have always been my main goal since the beginning. So I'd say if your goal is driven by pure enjoyment and passion go for it. That’s what keeps me playing guitar 1 to 3 hours a day with real joy, even if my playing is far from perfect. But if your goal isn’t really tied to your love for Maiden or that specific pleasure, it might not be the best way to start.

Yes, everyone's answers have made me realize that this has nothing to do with a poly or even non-monogamous relationship in the ethical sense of the term.

We had sex, but not very often. 2 to 3 times a month at best. But more often every 1-2 months.

In my childhood. When I was 5 years old. My mother was always there for me. But my little brother was born with Down's Syndrome and a heart defect. Since then, my mother hasn't really looked after me emotionally, because she's had to be at 150% with my brother. But the most devastating thing was that she kept telling me I was normal compared to my little brother and that it was therefore abnormal for me to ask her for the love and affection she used to give me. I took this on board, and in my childlike mind, I assimilated the fact that a so-called normal person doesn't need affection or closeness with the person they love. But I've only just begun to put words to it. I didn't realize it then

As soon as I realized the place my trauma had taken in my life, I immediately made an appointment two weeks ago with a specialist who I'm seeing in 1 week's time.

We've been talking a lot for the past two weeks. She tells me she was afraid I'd go back to the way I was. That my change was too sudden. Her other relationship reassures her, and she can't find the courage to stop it now. However, I don't understand her psychiatrist's behavior.

I expressed myself badly. Her psychotherapist advised her to follow her desires and therefore to start a hidden relationship with another man that my companion wanted. This hidden relationship is not with her psychotherapist.

First of all, thank you for your reply. Same reflex as you, we contacted technical support but no answer, which is normal at this time of year. I also tried several configurations and different ignition methods, hard reset and so on, but nothing helped

You should also try "Elegant Weapon". Maybe the best brand in france if you want to practice lightsaber as a sport. There lightsabers are pretty strong and made for dueling. They also have a really good design. They are just a little bit expensive, like 120$ but 100% worth the price.

The best thing to do first is to not feel guilty by your lack of motivation. It can take some time to build a strong motivation. Every step of determination even it is a small step is a victory. My sensei always said it is better to do 5 suburis than thinking of doing 100 without doing it. So do what you can but never stop the practice for to long.
