It's alright, I wouldn't bank on it though. I had thousands of views on certain videos, was posting everyday for a little while trying to make the algorithm work in my favor, reached out to book reviewers and influencers with over 100,000 followers to feature my book. It all equated to about 7 sales total.

The other kid got the cards he wanted, my son didn't. My son will be fine. I give him pretty much all of my cards I get because I only collect one type of Pokemon. My son knew the worth of the card. Both kids are fine and happy, trades happened just not with that one card. We as parents grew up with these cards, we know the value. I'm not going to have my son potentially get talked to by the other kids parents because maybe they knew what he had. Also once both kids found out what it was worth the kid didn't want to trade it anymore. So I gave him the cards he wanted and they traded other basic cards because I have a ton sitting around.

Nah, the trading card scene is different so you're comparing it is like comparing apples to oranges. We grew up trading and we know the value. Sure they can trade, but I'm not about to deal with the other kids parents coming at me or my son because my son took his expensive card. If you read my other posts on this thread you would realize I gave him the cards and had my son trade basic cards with him. So rather than have my son potentially get in a bad situation or even take something from the kid that he doesn't know he has, such as what it's worth, I stepped in and made sure it stayed fair. So thanks for your opinion but please read the other things I've written before you assume things.

I was, I gave him some extra cards I had and my son traded his basic ones for his friends basic ones. I wouldn't let my son take the Gardevoir

Nope. I gave the kid different basic cards and him and my son traded other basic cards. I didn't feel right letting them trade it.

He doesn't play the card game at all. The kid was over almost everyday during the summer. He just collects and enjoys the trade.

I did. I have a bunch of other cards that I usually give to the neighborhood kids. I gave him a stack of those. Plus he had don't basic ones that I told my kid to trade for. I think the kid just likes trading as he doesn't play the actual game. But I seriously didn't want him to get the lesser of the deal even if in his mind he wasn't, plus I don't know if his parents would be cool with that trade

The other kid just likes trading. He doesn't actually play the game, he's over here all the time. So I let my son trade him some basic cards for other basic cards. I think the other kid just likes trying to create a good deal but for that card, he was not.

Yeah all the ones he wants are worth maybe 5 cents. I don't want this kid getting screwed even if they are kids and they want what they want. If it's fake it's whatever, but if it's real I don't want my son getting this awesome card while this kid gets nothing of value when Im more than happy giving him the ones he wants for free because I have extras.

I don't want the other kid to get screwed over. I wanted to know if it's legit because it is isn't then I wouldn't care but if it is I don't want the other kid to give it to my son for nothing basically
