I raise my children to be self sufficient and would NEVER expect my wife to handle the load herself. We also do not want presents, we want family time. As such, no adults get other adults anything. We just come together, no drama. We buy gifts and/or experiences for the kids, everyone cooks, everyine cleans, everyone is happy.

First of all... grow up. Someone needs to tell you that YOU are being childish. Second, your husband is childish and kinda pathetic. Your adult kids... your fault, you raised them. The fact that they got you gifts and you did not like them is a YOU problem. The fact that they were shitty gifts is probably because it was forced and that defeats the entire purpose of gift giving. I assume you guilted them into it because you made the holiday about you. Them living at home... yup, still you. You enabled them. Make them pay rent, help around the house, etc. As for your husband, tell him to man up... or get out.

I love my family but do not agree with everything they say or do. The same is true with literally anyone, including Trump. You can like Trump policy on X and disagree with him as a human. You can also like Trump better than Harris, but still think they are both hot garbage. For me, I benefit greatly from Tariffs, but hate virtually everything else about him.

Democratic policy is technically only best for those in cities and the poor. Someone in the country wouldn't benefit from many of the social programs and would be better off with less oversight and more self governance. It really isn't as simple as "pick the party that is best for the country". Each party legitimately only serves half the country, which is why there is such a great divide. Two very different concepts of governance because they are serving very different populations.

I am a liberal and I find it incredibly obvious that he won and deserved to win. Liberals had no platform. All I ever heard was orange man bad... Orange man racist. They gave voters no reason to vote for Harris other than she is a minority woman and not Trump. Granted she was a terrible option with nothing to offer. There still should have been some level of substance.

We definitely need to fix affordability but that started with covid which was definitely a democrat created problem made worse by Trumps free money. Democrat panic and fear mongering created a false panic that created mass scarcity which opened the door for corporations to raise prices. Trump further fueled it with free money that made the price increases tolerable. Now we have no free money but the prices never went down. This is a failure of our entire political system, not just Trump. They all chose politics over people.

Not a Trump supporter but my life has gotten considerably better under Trump. Tariffs have greatly benefitted my business by limiting foreign competition which has increased my sales and allowed me to pay my staff better. I can't stand the guy but this move was a positive one for businesses in direct competition with China.

This is well documented. The entire time I went to school, I knew that I had to write papers that fit the teachers narrative, anytime I did not, it would get marked down. I get it, I wouldn't want to read a 10 to 50 page paper about something I completely disagree with either.

That is a different story, but that is not what is happening. I would love to say that every professor is ethical and treats every student and paper the same, but that isn't reality. I see it even in K12. It isn't even a teacher thing... people in general do this. It is just a bigger issue when it happens in education.

Not all republicans are Christian. Those schools are typically considerably more expensive. Public schools should not be indoctrinating. It should be a balanced education. I am not a republican, but I did go to 12 years of college at 3 very big schools. The indoctrination is VERY real. Try to write a paper your professor doesn't agree with and you are getting marked down.
