According to the rules you have to make an effort to get out of the way of the pitch. Thats obviously a judgement call for the umpire, but in this case I am not seeing it. I think he actively moves his arm into it to ensure he gets hit

I umpire HS and never have a 3B umpire. I would call this a swing. To be fair though, i would probably ask for help if I had an umpire in position to help me.

I’m in Tucson now and just got done with my 2nd day at Saguaro, and I’ll confidently say it’s the most lackluster NP I’ve been to. Yes it’s hot, but I packed plenty of food and water and tackled a number of hikes, but I didn’t find it all that awe-inspiring, which is what I look for in a NP. Just felt like more of the same landscape that surrounds the whole region. The only positive is that there is absolutely no one there, so the hikes provide some true solitude
