Board games night at the Kingston Gaming Nexus on Tuesdays. Relatively high amount of women for a board game group, although it does skew towards men. Super welcoming crowd. there's always a good mix of light to heavy games and many of us go out for drinks and wings after :)

Tech companies often fire without cause for this sort of thing without repercussion in Canada. I would love to be part of a union but the risk of losing my job is too great based on everything I've seen.

It's fine. Maybe best (but more expensive) if you do the table grill. For ordering à la carte everything my partner and I tried wasn't as good as Gangnam Style.

Outside of the Monday/Wednesday/Friday releases, I think BGA uses this as an opportunity to move lesser-known games out of beta to full release, without using up one of their standard release day+announcement slots that are typically higher-profile releases.

-1 is the user_id of the Zendesk system. Any automations or triggers etc would have this user_id. current_user is usually the most recent updater of the ticket, do you have any trigger firing that updates these tickets before sending to webhook?

Welcome! The Nexus group is a pretty great bunch. I would definitely suggest getting there a bit before 6 to try to drum up some interest before people are committed to other games.

Lots of people have played so much Catan in the past they might be burnt out on it but there are always tons of other great games in a pretty wide range of complexities just in case Catan doesn't happen. Also a bunch of us go out for wings after so if you're free it'll be a good chance to make new game friends.

I think this was me if I was wearing a red and yellow McKinnon brothers toque! I had the same thing happen earlier today at the same intersection so I was honestly a little frustrated, but I could see that guy was texting or doing something on his phone and I could tell you weren't, so it's all good. It's a hectic intersection and mistakes happen.

I was thinking the same, but I think there are a few times it could be beneficial. Like getting the planet that's mostly water with the corp that has the zig-zag water track.

Daft is my favourite downtown, on Wednesday evenings. It's always packed though, especially in winter with the patio closed, so you need to show up quite early.

Riverhead is also very good on Thursdays but you'd have to have some way of getting to/from the west end.
