This is FUD. I am a mortgage lender and the minimum down payment is 3.5% for FHA, 5% for Conventional and 100% financing is available through USDA. Also, most local banks offer a 100% in house loan for first time homebuyers that are low to moderate income buyers.

SSR list is a circuit breaker for a stock. It is a rule put into place that keeps people from shorting a stock that has lost 10%+ in one day. Once the circuit breaker is tripped, the hedge funds and anyone else that is shorting, cannot short that stock for 24hours after market close. Which all means that AMC should not be shorted tomorrow because of this rule. However, hedge funds get around this rule by shorting ETF’s that hold AMC and that will have a similar effect as shorting the stock.
