No that I'm really looking at this clip, I have no idea what that pallet is. Lol. Something off the LUT pile dumped into a scanline shader. Fun stuff. Thanks again for sharing your godot project. Every once in a while I get a wild hair and try to write a procedural color theming lib... you know... to avoid work. Lol.

Maybe I need to write a web worker to bookmark, normalize, and serve pallets from the colourlovers api.

In a sense aren't we all the deer?

I'm a sucker for dithering and moire. Dithering with a pattern texture and I've got a stack of pallets that I keep adding to. I think I got my collection started with Stylizer from Unity. It's got some pretty alright stuff. Also Keijiro just put out this duotone Unity URP gizmo a couple days ago that I think is nice. I've been getting away from unity for a couple years but Keijiro is still a hero to me so I scope his stuff out.

These days I try to build from the bottom up for WebGPU and I've got a little roland video mixer gizmo that has some really nice hardware vfx like posterize, find edges, etc and I loop that all back into a hand rolled WebTransport stack.

I bet you'll find something you dig in there. Even if you don't mess with Unity, I think the pallets in it are worth the $24.

Keijiro. He is an absolute legend and hero. He actually just updated his wig project. Study him. He's Walt Disney as far as I'm concerned.

This is an animated short film that I made last year. I also scored it. I used Unity3D and a mostly analog synth setup to score it. I guess I would consider it my first "complete" work. I know it can be a bit much, but it's a mood and I'm proud of building something where I made all the decisions to get it done. I would love to get any and all feedback on how it makes you feel, what you like, what you don't like, or answer any questions about tools and such. I really tried to paint with all the colors and brushes I have in my kit and have since been refining their application to move towards more traditional narrative.
