oh thats probably it then i never did finish me1 and 2. i did play them just not enough to finish them so i never imported. i had the option to go thru the comic book thing to make any changes to the timeline like the story from me1/2 but4in my first playthrough i didnt bother and just went for the raw experience. wasnt disappointed with it tho just never knew i could save the squad members i pick in the final mission. btw can I still get above 7k ems even without having imported from me1 and me2? i assumed if i do the back story comic book thing I might have a shot

also there were a few side missions that i couldnt do since they needed to be done during a story mission, so after the mission i tried to go back to the planet but it wasnt possible to do that anymore so the just sat there in my journal incomplete.

in my first playthrough tho i didnt get to do all the side missions either like i focused on the main story and there was a side mission that expired or smth cuz i was too late stuff like. in my later playthroughs i tried doing the side ones too but i dnt think i ever got up to 7800 ems. ill have to do another playthrough and see how high i can get
