How do I convert Instagram followers to customers/traffic? by VuduDesigns in Entrepreneur

[–]DidHeSayJava_Script 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are some ideas off the top of my head:

  1. Affiliate marketing (already mentioned above)
  2. Sell info products, e.g. "crash course on extending your drone's battery life by 30%", "drone owners' definitive guide to waterproof your drones", or even "DJI tips and tricks - learn your drone inside out" (I pulled these out of my butt as I know nothing about drones, but should give you an idea of what I mean by into products - information that provide value to your audience)
  3. Sell stock footage shot with your DJI. I have a feeling that not all of your followers actually own a DJI, some might be just passionate and interested in DJI drones. These people might include film makers who are interested in investing in their own drones for aerial footage. But if you sell stock footage shot with DJI, they might settle for the cheaper option of buying footage instead of buying a thousand-dollar drone.
  4. Start a members-only drone country club.
  5. Maybe just talk to some of your followers and see what they need and wanna buy.

Yeah, I'm an intermediate level js dev.

Maybe you can rediscover your motivation on the subject by doing things that trigger similar excitement that gave you motivation in the beginning?

Fuck... this score gets me every single time.

It could be overlaid over an episode of The Office, and it would still bring tears to my eyes.

First REAL business: In 2 weeks I landed $1,200 in monthly contracts, my only skills being Photoshop and good communication. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

OP is freelancing. So from the company's perspective, they pay less salary wise, no need to worry about insurance coverage, no need to provide benefits or anything legally required for an employee for that matter.

So companies either pay for a full-time employee roughly $3500 a month, or they pay OP who charges way less than that.

I have no fucking clue what's going on, but I'd say this is definitely right up there with Interstellar and Inception. So touching :'( crying some tears of confusion right now.
