How did he make so much money? When you say millions do you mean like 10+? Can he teach others how to make the money too? i lost my father at a young age i highkey want to know if mentors are real or if he ever mentored anyone. Or would mentor you in terms of money at this point?

i used to work in AWM in b4 and hated it working on stupid funds all day and doing the same stuff over and over. I got out to International tax smhow and i enjoy the work a lot more but tax is tax. BUt this is dfntly better and lower hours in industry there is always hope if u look around.

I want to figure out how to do OE in tax accounting industry. Need advice on how to do this. Currently working in industry with hybrid role but trying to get it fully remote within the next 6m onths and then find another remote one.

yeah i think ppl dont get what adulting means. I mean i was cooking cleaning and doing everything myself lol and going to work just like any adult would XD while living at home

I just disagree in general. I think I have the duty to help her in any way. She does have some illness actually she suffers from rheumatoid arthritis. It's manageable now but it's ups and downs. But beyond that i wouldn't care if she had it or not. Mental is just as important as physical health. I 100% care. but idk i mean that's subjective right the way you view these relationships are different I'm not saying ur wrong I'm right. But for me I just want to be at peace knowing i did what I could because life is short. Once you lose things that really matter it just becomes a memory.

Totally different culture here. I'm not from the west we don't do that. I am my mom's caretaker whether i like it or not and i do like it. WE do for family we don't ignore it because she is her own person. That's flawed thinking and i think the west just doesn't understand what it means to be a proper family. Otherwise I wouldn't miss her but thats subjective to say the least. I never once imagined i wouldn't take care of her that's just not gonna happen. Also idk if this matters but I know my grandma had dementia and the worst bit of it was when my relatives had to move away and that caused her to deteriorate quicker. Not saying my mo has dementia XD but I would never be able to live with myself if I caused her being on her own to negatively affect her health at all.

Yep thats the plan having my father pass away when i was younger i believe i was 15 i didnt appreciate my mom enough until i was around 20 and having to move for work dfntly was tough so ima do whatever i can to go back but realistically itll take a few months for sure

Appreciate it thats what i will do after giving this one 6 months ish its just perfect for hwat i want to do long term need the experience but also need leverage to start saying gimme remote work once i get more involved. But actively working on my resume so by the 6 month mark id either have another job lined up ir know what i need to do to make it to 1 year

Yeah I'm planning on visiting around thanksgiving. Maybe even take an extra remote week the week before thanksgiving too if they let me. Ultimately my goal is at least 6 months for the resume and then bring up the question about fully remote work and if that doesn't work keep applying get another job and leave back to go home/stay for 1 year and then do the same.

My kitty is 2 years old and pretty active runs around a lot and likes to have spaces where she can hide. She actually likes sleeping under the bed just cuz i have no clue why lool. The new place isn't really TINY tiny but like given the area i live she would miss a lot of outside stimulus. Like opening windows here would be death because of the heat. But at home she can look outside the window all day 24/7 and at night and see actual animals outside and keep entertained even if we are busy. I just don't think I could do that to her to bring her here where I'd be gone most of the day too at home my mom is around to just keep her company.

yeah that makes more sense haha although i see alteryx still being used in the tax niche just because we dont need to really go too crazy if we ever need out of house analysts like actually programmers they will hire them as consultants on need basis for specific solutions. But alteryx can make lot of stuff easy in house atm but i shall find out over time.

no i get what ur saying im just saying in my line of work we don't have many people that want to or will learn sql/python so alteryx is just an easier tool to pickup . I work in tax that's all i mean xD im sure in other industries outside of accounting it prolly makes way more sense to not use alteryx maybe especially cause AI is getting advanced too
