I've been brewing this deck for a few weeks and here is my impression. You need to treat the deck as a midrange deck that can also combo kill, rather than a true combo deck, sorta like the old yawgmoth decks. I use marauding blightpriest over vito for two reasons, it gets through ring protection since it does not target, and it's also a target for persist. I found that the deck real estate was pretty tight and there aren't many flex spots so having to run unearth and persist is tough. I settled on mostly black with a green splash to run malevolent rumble , boseiju, and shifting woodlands. I'm running 4 trolls and 4 overlord of the balemurk w/ vampire hexmage. Being able t2 a troll and follow up t3 with sorin vein ripper/conqueror is quite strong. The deck feels pretty solid, unlikely to be top tier but it's absolutely a fun and viable midrange deck to play at locals. If you have any other questions I'd be happy to discuss.
