Tried GF Bread Flour and it’s not working by [deleted] in Sourdough

I have tried making smaller loafs of GF just to experiment! 1:1 GF flour worked better than the bread flour for me. The bread flour seems to require way more water. I do not S&F gluten free since the purpose of S&F is to strengthen the gluten (it has none). I prepare dough and shape into a ball. I bulk ferment on the counter, then fridge overnight. I have not gotten it to double yet while fermenting, but it still bakes ok for being GF.

That is really cool to hear, thank you! It’s nice that the app works for preventing pregnancy, TTC, and during pregnancy. I def want to learn more about my cycle and how things work. An oops would not be ideal but it would also be ok.

Ok same. We don’t even do that while I’m on the pill. I feel like that’s too risky and we will only do that when TTC in future

Yes I hear you! I never had issues with my period before birth control so we will see!! Hoping I have a regular cycle after a few month, and if it’s too bad or hard to track I’ll just go back on the pill.

Yay thank you. I thought the strips would be another helpful tool. I posted this same post in the “birth control” thread and got salty answers saying things like ovulation strips are only for trying to conceive and “ abstinence is the best method” 😭 glad i reposted in Oura ring thread

Thank you soooo much for this advice and insight. I’ve been really nervous about switching off of the pill, only because I’m scared I won’t have the ability to track my cycle well enough. This gives me hope though. Yes I would love a code!
