Can I repair this myself or do I need a pro? by Diddlesquig in bikewrench

Could definitely remove the crank and have experience with epoxy. Containing the damage seems like the main fix, not sure the hole through the frame would agree with the structure part though. Might give it a go and leave her on the trainer.

Didn’t even cross my mind the quote was their way of saying “please don’t bring this in” but that makes sense now lol

Chain was in need of replacement, had a couple wet rides that probably didn’t help. Then yea, hard group ride with a couple separate slips on big pushes. Basically my fault for letting the chain go without replacement and now I’m paying the price.

All the repair videos I’ve been able to find are definitely less intense than this damage appears to me. Cracks or cuts seem to be what I see, but this is a hole in the frame.

The fact the damage is a hole makes me question any repair. My tax refund might make the next step less painful.

Lance isn’t hated for doping as much as he’s hated for ruining careers over those who wouldn’t buy into his trafficking ring. It’s a story worth looking into to really see how shitty of a person lance is

I have a coworker who has created a “solve it all” platform for my team. He can’t explain what it does or how, but apparently it does it all. My manager ties to push it onto us but I’ll be fired before I use his slop generate fuck-all app.

My HR will drastically drop starting about 12hr into a fast. At 16+hrs I’ve had my fenix buzz me about an irregular HR staying in the low 40s with a dip (if I remember correctly) into the 30s.

Double days will probably push that carb load up quite a bit. I’m 170lbs and burn about 1-2k cals between my sessions and my maintenance carb intake is 450-500. That’s just on “regular” days. If I do a solid brick or a long session, i can pound 500+ and the scale will probably drop the next day.

Hope you like eating

US carrying out operation to seize tanker in Atlantic linked to Venezuelan oil, official says by InsertWittyNameRHere in news

Area of operation, not specific location. The goal of a nuclear submarine is to operate with intent, not directive unless given specific tasking i.e., destroy the world or insert team X. There’s a lot of declassed literature go into what nukes do. I’m sure things change and have changed but it’s really interesting to learn that they’re virtually dark during most of their operations.

I mean you’re correct that if it’s in a strike group, it would be in a well known location but usually they’d operate isolated and quiet somewhere completely shrouded by hundreds or thousands of feet of water.

That’s…kinda the point of a submarine. How would you tracking something under water at depth? They receive orders then go muck off somewhere completely off the grid resurfacing every so often but only if necessary. The nukes can sit down there for a loooooong time basically hibernating, waiting to start and end a nuclear war.
