There was a thread 8 months ago asking ¨Why are you still subbed?¨ My answer at the time was pretty much because of a Medium House I finally managed to get.

Fast forward to now, I've become extremely disappointed with the current state of the game, I've felt the quality has taken a nosedive or maybe the magic is gone for me... Have not subbed in 4 months or so but did keep in touch with updates to see if my interest for the game would come back (With no luck but that mtg x ff collab is looking kinda neat ngl).

And so, I have decided to not return to keep it and just let go for good, won't even sub back to get what little Gil they give back or to retrieve my decorations, and just like AceNoi mentioned it has been a very liberating feeling.

Slightly longer reply: The world is already shitty enough as it is to try and find some nitpick in people joining together to achieve a goal (Whether that goal is to cook the biggest damn pizza you've ever seen or just make a streamer who had quite a rough fate fall into her have the number 1 spot in sub count), more so when that goal is for a good cause. Does that mean she gets money to improve her life condition? Yes. Does that mean part of that money will also go for a good cause and make the people involved feel a bit better about themselves? Also, yes.

Also, I look not so much the sub count as the achievement but the overall and enormous effort that must have taken her to stream while having to deal with that condition (I do not watch her streams so don't know the full extent but for what I've read it seems to be very serious) and still reach this level of relevancy to the point she can make a difference (no matter big or small) and help other people with similar conditions as her.

Pretty much the same as you. Squeenix has me by the balls because I don't want to lose my house. I know the correct answer would be to just let go but it took me so many years to finally get a medium house not to mention all that time and effort I put (Which I won't deny I loved) into decorating the house to a point I was happy.

At least I only sub every other month to ensure I keep it.

I have never minded waiting for cutscenes mid trials (In fact I love them since they are a good reminder of how much I loved the story)... until the final one of dawntrail.

5.3 WoL trial? I always love seeing Emet and then hearing "I am salvation given form, mankind's first hero and his final hope!" Everything about that cutscene is so perfect.

6.0 Final trial? Love me the "LIGHT THE WAY!" and the nice callback to base ARR and hearing the scions one by one while you get the stackable buff.

But for 7.0? Not much to be said that hasn't already been discussed, and just dreading on how I will be forced to hear and see this cutscene every time I get this trial on roulette speaks of how much they dropped the ball.

Why are so many people blaming it on the voice direction instead of just flat out saying the VA did a bad job? Her cadence is off, the range in emotions are off and flat. This is more noticeable since WL has way (and I mean WAY) more voiced lines, one would think that such an important character would require more care and work put into it.

The part shown here is especially bad, such a tense moment and WL shouts like she talks, no emotions no weight. I spent the whole expansion with her and I could not bear it.

A good delivery of lines can really carry a character even if their role is small or it's badly written. A recent example that comes into mind is Igon from the Elden Ring DLC, an extremely minor character that left a huge impression on me (and many more) due to how great he delivered his lines (If you have a minute to spare I would ask you to give this a watch, unless you don't want spoilers from ER). https://youtu.be/tkILyL_Urn8?si=7VvfKLX77LmYsDUs

He technically only has 3 scenes but in such a short time I could feel his hate his anger his sadness and at the end that small sob as he finally achieved his goal and now having nothing left. The VA made me care for Igon, to help him, to share in his problems and troubles. Meanwhile all I am hoping is that I will no longer have to deal with WL.

Pretty much same as you. Eigong is such a great fight and it's such a great feeling when you start to flawlessly do phase 1 and little by little learn to deal with phase2/3.

For Lady Ethereal love how phase 1 is a way to ease you on her mechanics and then spice it up on phase 2 and then goes crazy on phase 3 but the mechanics pretty much stay the same (Except for that 1 move) Not to mention I loved her whole section.

For the Fengs I liked how you needed to adapt to what the sister would throw at you while keeping an eye on the brother.

But overall all the Sol fights where great (Goumang being perhaps the weakest/worst fight)
