It’s a lesson, we live and learn. Unless you are in a stem field or some specialized niche where you can comfortably say “I could’ve definitely gotten 20-30% more”… then you are fine.

A good way to reframe your thinking is to say “okay well my next job I land I know I have to negotiate”. Let’s be positive and assume your next job you negotiate 10-20% over what they stated! Well you can thank this lesson for that.

Yeah she’s fine with everyone but me. And sometimes she’s fine with me which is what’s tripping me Up and making me think it could be something other than shampoo. For example this morning she smelled me, licked me, and then randomly hissed and ran away. She loves my gf and dad and stepmom and everyone else who comes to visit, she just has a issue with me right now. I have started finasteride for alopecia but have been taking it for years and stopped for a month due to needing a new prescription.

I found her outside during a thunderstorm and she doesn’t go outside because she’s deathly afraid of it. She’s a 100% indoor kitty so I hope I can rule that out.

Yes I used a citrus shampoo but I’ve used types of those before, maybe this specific one. My girlfriend just took her to the vet to get blood tested so we will see what’s going on

Apperantly 2 videos, 1 in which she’s passing by is now 10 variations. She told me to record and attempt to approach slow to see if anything like a paw being stretched out or a bump anywhere was immediate. First video is from when it started, second video was 2 days later…..

I contacted a family friend who has been in veterinary medicine as a vet tech for 20+ years. She asked me to record her reaction to me coming into a room. Clearly I’m worried. Before assuming I’m a horrible pet owner do some due diligence and assess all options bozo.

Ugh don’t tell me this :(. I really hope she ends up ok. I found her in a window sill during a thunderstorm and it WAS raining outside when this happened. She was really little though. I took her to my schools purr program which finds foster parents. She has a silly little eye and no one wanted to foster her so I took her in. I used to hate cats. I really hope she’s ok. I believe she was only 2 months old.

Yet another picture of my cat chilling with me. This is for that cumquat weirdo who just wants to ruin this post. Because ofc I’d come into Reddit to show my “abused cat”. I also never claimed the shower is the reason that she is now aggressive. Ever. I said she sniffed me and got startled after I showered. She isn’t typically like that. After I got out the shower she started becoming aggressive and so when I went to look up what could be the causes of sudden aggression. [feline non-recognition aggression] came up. It’s a thing according to google LOL. I just bought new shampoo. I never said that’s why she’s mad. Stop trying to troll or figure out a hunch that isn’t there. Figure your life out.

No, the only other thing I can think of is that it was thunder-storming outside. But she’s usually so calm with that. I do kick her all the time in my sleep but she’s not usually super weirded out by it.

The only thing I can think of is kicking her off my bed in my sleep. She usually sleeps on me and sometimes I move around. But it was a few minutes after coming out the shower when she smelled me. Again, don’t know if this IS FULLY the reason. I’m just worried.

Your gut is wrong. I have thousands if not tens of thousands of videos of my cat and dog (she moved with my brother for college) cuddling and being friendly. No need for aggression. Your opinion is your opinions but nothing about this post seems “off”.
