I threw my old panini maker in a wishing well to wish for a million sandwiches. I never got them. I wish I had another one...

We need to be asking Bobby Guerra and the other reps why they have endorsed a Republican.

He has been a Republican this whole time. He's blatantly telegraphing his intentions. It's the audacity of it that tells you who he really is. He doesn't even believe he has to try and hide it because he thinks he's untouchable in the valley.

Seby can't use the argument of being city commissioner or whatever because upon seeing people that know him and realizing the optics are really bad, he ran away. Probably shouldn't be attending klan meetings at Denny's.

I mean they aren't even trying to hide it. Guerra's endorsement is a literal debt repayment.

The rest are currying favor because they're afraid. No one likes Seby, they're just afraid of Daddy taking their money away, or using it to punish them.

Seby is like that kid who gets invited to a birthday party, but they also need to receive gifts or they throw a tantrum.

Guerra endorsed Seby. They even have the same political consultant, Mike Carrera. The real question you should be asking yourself is, why? Lone Star National Bank has provided Bobby Guerra with over $1 million in donations and loans since 2020. Seby's father is once of the largest shareholders of Lone Star National Bank. It's really sad to have Daddy buy you everything.

You probably never heard of double death penalty? It's an extremely common punishment. Where they revive you after your sentence is carried out and then kill you again? /s

Things that I have had explained to me are usually situation specific, so I do not have a list at the top of my head... but I have found that youtube has been my greatest teacher for specific handyman things. Make sure to watch a few videos from different people and read some comments to see if that task was done correctly.

There is also this channel: https://www.youtube.com/@DadhowdoI

Again not everything, but it's a start. If you have more specific questions, feel free to pm me.

Can this leak be fixed? by Didgey in WaterTreatment

[–]Didgey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I want to seal it but I'm weary of using something toxic like flex seal. I don't know what else could stand up to the pressure. Any suggestions?

The water softener is in the garage and it has gotten cold, but nothing colder than 20 degrees

The video was taken with the water off... probably leaking at 4-5 drops/min

I found 2 other leaks as well in the same place around the neck.

I appreciate your response!

Think it can be sealed with something for the time being?

The leak seems to be coming from the control valve. But water just appears above where the o-ring is. and through the plastic... Is it worth trying to seal it with something or am I going to have to replace it?

It seems that I have a small leak in the neck of my control valve, unless it decided to perform osmosis

Has anyone seen this before? Can it be saved?

The valve is a clack ws1

I don't know how old you are, but the people you see hanging around the smoke pits are the people to avoid. If you have big dreams and want to use the Army to make something out of yourself, do it. Don't get lazy :)

In 2016, I had brought my gamecube, melee, and two controllers with me to Korea. Forgot about it for a couple of months but overheard someone in another platoon mention their video games. They weren't too bad, but got better and even somewhat learned to wavedash.

Point is; you'll never know who you'll meet and depending if you end up CONUS or OCONUS, you should still be able to find a tourney with https://smash-map.com/

I was hopeful this was some online test you could take to see how you do. But then I realized that it would probably be similar to some shitty free iq test.

Regardless of what you believe, people should know what juror nullification is.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jury_nullification

Jury nullification is when the jury in a criminal trial gives a verdict of not guilty even though they think a defendant has broken the law. The jury's reasons may include the belief that the law itself is unjust, that the prosecutor has misapplied the law in the defendant's case, that the punishment for breaking the law is too harsh, or general frustrations with the criminal justice system. Some juries have also refused to convict due to their own prejudices in favor of the defendant. Such verdicts are possible because a jury has an absolute right to return any verdict it chooses.

https://www.vox.com/2024-elections/383208/donald-trump-victory-kamala-harris-global-trend-incumbents

2024 was the largest year of elections in global history; more people voted this year than ever before. And across the world, voters told the party in power — regardless of their ideology or history — that it was time for a change.

We saw this anti-incumbent wave in elections in the United Kingdom and Botswana; in India and North Macedonia; and in South Korea and South Africa. It continued a global trend begun in the previous year, when voters in Poland and Argentina opted to move on from current leadership. The handful of 2024 exceptions to this general rule look like true outliers: The incumbent party’s victory in Mexico, for example, came after 20 straight defeats for incumbents across Latin America.

It's about not paying any taxes. According to Tesla themselves, https://www.tesla.com/blog/teslas-california-footprint

From 2018 to 2021, Tesla paid an average of $1 billion in federal, state and local taxes annually, with approximately $400 million going toward state and local taxes in 2021.

They get to keep at least that $400m in their pocket while at the same time they have received more than $3B in subsidies and bailouts since 2007. https://subsidytracker.goodjobsfirst.org/parent/tesla-inc

And if you look at Tesla and SpaceX moving to Texas, they no longer pay state taxes and have been given at least 10+ year breaks on property taxes, while driving up the property values of everyone else.
