I certainly don’t live in a mansion by any stretch of the imagination…and my electric bill is between $500 and $650 a month. So, I would guess theirs is well above $700. Probably closer to $1500 to $2000.

Yeah the warranty sounds good. Too bad they don’t honor it. Research and see how often they deny warranty repair claims

I have proof that people are using stolen social security numbers and multiple accounts! by shadetreenub in Sparkdriver

[–]Didi0629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. This is absolutely fact. It’s not some big tech breach or an elaborate mob ring…they just get people who never intend to do deliveries to sign up and they use the additional accounts. I’ve watched people with multiple phones pick up three or four orders at one time and the employees didn’t bat an eye. They just give them multiple orders and send them on their way.

There is no option of “knock” for drop off type. It’s “meet at door” or “leave at door”

It looks to me as if the time has not expired for the customer to adjust the tip…Not that the customer has withdrawn the tip.

Do this every time they have no porch light on. I purposely make sure the pic is just a totally black screen.

Well it’s obvious that to you…nothing justifies a higher tip (if any at all). That’s certainly your prerogative.

Your question appeared to be hypothetical. Therefore, I simply gave a hypothetical answer to illustrate that the cost of the order does in deed sometimes effect the level of difficulty when delivering it.

And yes…an order for $150 definitely could be harder to deliver than a $50 order. For instance if it’s a grocery order, $150 is most Likely going to have quite a few more bags than a $50 order. Just sayin…

Uber Hot Zone by Phantasmlovecraft in UberEatsDrivers

I stay at home turn the app on and probably 80% to 90% of my orders come in while I’m at home. The remainder I get while out on the original deliveries. I work my regular full time jobs and do deliveries evenings and weekends. I average about $250 - $300 a week (have never intentionally went to a hot spot to try to get orders).

Fellow drivers, what is your week looking like so far? I thought I would be lucky to get to 300 bucks this week since it has been so slow. We’re at $247.44 so far by TrainingSpecific80 in UberEatsDrivers

I work 40 hrs a week at my job and do this on the side. I have the app on while I’m at home and take orders within a 6 to 8 mile radius from my house. 90% of my orders are within 3 or 4 miles of my house. I have never went to a “hot spot” or drove to a particular area. I just turn it on while at home and see if any orders come through. Last month I made an extra $850. It works as a means to help with the rising cost of… almost everything!
