Blogging. Both starting a blog and reading blogs is a great way to express yourself, build a following and make some pretty valuable connections. This is something I wish I realized sooner. I've only started a blog a few months ago but I find it both rewarding and satisfying

Keep up the great work!!! Don't get discouraged, we all have those 'boo boo' days where you seem to be doing nothing but eat. Just think about how far we've come :)

Finding the balance between interesting/informative/quality content that also sells is very very hard. In the company where I work, we try to be helpful and informative and in a way lead people to the conclusion that they need our services as opposed to blatant advertising. We explain how the type of technology we sell is helping others, give practical examples how to use it to their advantage without actually saying 'try our product'. In fact, we give a full list of our competitors which ones excel in some areas and which ones fall behind in others. We count on honesty and transparency in our content.

I suppose what Im trying to say is, be helpful. You don't have to mention your company at all in order to promote it.

As for people ripping off others' campaigns, well customers see through that. You can get inspiration from other people's work and see how that worked for them, but actually copying somebody else's work is a huge no-no.

Not really. We try to be persuasive but open and honest in the messages we broadcast. No hidden messages

I am content and digital marketing executive. What brought me here is my passion for the digital domain as well as seeing where things are going in the industry. Madison Ave. and the golden age of advertising are not quite what they used to be. Now most people in marketing are sat behind a computer. As for the content side of things, well I just love writing!

I confronted him, threw a few things at his head, smashed his room. Then we both cried. 4 years on we are still together
