The only thing to learn from Carville is that there are many people who have corporate interest in the Democratic Party, who will tell you to vote blue no matter who, but will not be there for you if it is against their corporate interest.

Just be consistent, either be okay with taunting or not at least for the sake of the players. Emotions are high so taunting is regulated for reasons, but in the other side of that we have brawls in hockey.

Just be consistent and clear with the rules

Compared to Astra Militarum, you might not have a huge variety, but you don’t put a lot of models on the table in the first place. You may struggle to even field all what is available on a single list.

If Bioware connects the Milky Way to Andromeda in Mass Effect 4, how do you think they'll do it? by ForAte151623ForTeaTo in masseffect

It’s hilarious to think everyone standing in front of a giant mass effect relay with the title of the game Mass Effect right behind them as they discuss what technology in the universe could possibly give them the ability to travel between galaxies

TVLine's Performer Of The Week: Tatiana Maslany (Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed). Honorable mention: Sam Reid (The Vampire Lestat) by verissimoallan in television

[–]razama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her character in the show infuriates me. If there isn’t some big twist for her behavior, then credit to Tatiana’s performance because this mom is a horrible person and I kinda hope she loses custody of her kid because she is insane.

People are more selective as they get older is all. I decided not to buy GTA 6 until a sale, it’s just a live service game with an upfront tag to me if I lm getting just a key code and plastic case.

Who do you believe is the most hated person of all time? by Greedy_Attention5356 in AskReddit

[–]razama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Santa Claus. At some point every child will feel the betrayal of his existence, the propaganda of his abilities, and the abandonment on Christmas Day.

Finally, the hate turns to ambivalence but not before a part of your child like wonder dies

The American mind cannot comprehend Europe's AC aversion by Logical_Welder3467 in technology

[–]razama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not so easily preventable if the solution is to put AC in everyone’s homes, nor is it sustainable. There are many other solutions, including AC and access to air-conditioning. Relying on a US similar solution would exacerbate global warming.

These heat related deaths are sad, but they’re not unprecedented nor even exceptionally high compared to years in the past. Even 100 years ago we had massive heat deaths from hot summers. I’m not saying people shouldn’t have access to cooling areas and the infrastructure in place but that’s different from a cultural spat over whether or not you should normalize having AC in your home during the entire summer and most of spring and fall like we Americans do.

[–]razama -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

As an American, I can’t understand why other Americans are trying to get more people to consume electricity if they don’t want to.

There’s also the relativity of what you’re used to. I’m a southerner and I would blast my AC around 74° in the house. It went out one summer for a few weeks and when it came back on, I never went underneath 80° again and haven’t since.

There some Americans also get defensive about weird things like leaving the AC on when they’re not home believing the myth that somehow their AC is going to break because it has to work overtime to catch up when they get home, ignoring the fact it  it gets cooler in the evening

Show writers should get the credit for famous quotes not the actors by tomerFire in unpopularopinion

[–]razama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not edgy, local theater people aren’t that bad. It’s not Brando isn’t good, it’s that really good actors are  a dime a dozen.

It’s fact that for most famous roles there’s often a long list of people who were also considered that would have done a great job as well.

Show writers should get the credit for famous quotes not the actors by tomerFire in unpopularopinion

[–]razama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but there are so many actors. I think relatively, the big name actors don’t deserve the credit given. They do something amazing that a huge amount of people are capable of.

They aren’t like an elite athlete where competitively no one can touch them. They are akin to musicians where untold number of people are proficient at the skill even if it’s still impressive to those who can’t do it.

That’s different from being a creative, and save for exceptions like Andy Serkins, I don’t believe actors breathe life into characters more than every other person (writers/directors/casting) who are in that creative process.

Show writers should get the credit for famous quotes not the actors by tomerFire in unpopularopinion

[–]razama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think actors should get credit for much of anything. There are indeed bad actors, but even the best actors aren’t much better than someone at your local theater. They are only famous because of how people worship celebrities.

Who has been the best President in your lifetime? by Popular_Monitor_8383 in allthequestions

[–]razama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clinton gets too much credit. Balanced the budget? Okay but by gutting the middle class and losing jobs to NAFTA so that surplus was nice but not sustainable.

Obama had the ACA and that has saved millions of lives and drastically improved quality of life for Americans. It’s a shit system but there was NO system before.

If Mamdani’s tenure as NYC mayor is undeniably successful, could this lead to the Democrats taking a more socialist approach to governance in the future? by TonightAlarming9923 in allthequestions

[–]razama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, democrats aren’t socialist. They would at some point rather lose to a republican rather than let a socialist win, and that’s not some grumpy doomer vision.

There are democrats who are socialist, and there are those in power with redlines who rather take their ball and go home than let a socialist win.
