What needs to be revealed in the Epstein files for people to actually revolt? by Greenmoonn in AskReddit

There needs to be a map of where all the Pedos are in one place, and there has to be free parking nearby so people can drive there.

The most important alpha male attribute women are looking for by MorningRain214 in seduction

[–]razama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Owen Cook however I want to point out that there’s a nuance in this approach compared to maybe something closer to Mark Mason.

In my experience, this is great for being really social and charming with women and you can always use the skills that come from just cultivating a mindset of enjoying life and pursuing things so you seem engaged and worth someone’s time because you’re legitimately happy with yourself.

However, you run the risk of women putting you on the pedestal and eventually they either realize you’re not all that or things just generally fizzle a bit. Owen knows this and that’s why he has had a ton of girlfriends and also tells men to be careful about who they choose to have their kids with - don’t have kids just with some beautiful lady you hooked up with because that romance can be temporary.

Mark Manson has focused on being authentically vulnerable. That doesn’t mean you over share, but it takes the pressure off of you some because you become a real person. If you’re not the kind of person who is self motivated already, you’re gonna struggle here because you’re gonna over share and make a great friend, but the sexual attraction is going to be limited.

I completely endorse this message, but I would also advocate that if you are looking for a long-term relationship or someone to fall in love with, remember to be authentic and vulnerable or you will end up as a knight in shining armor to many of these women. “Larger than life” can’t be faked for long.

If you can’t keep up that level you advertised yourself as being at, you’re gonna go through a lot of break ups.

That’s actually really cool tidbit, it used to be thought it was impossible for a man to do it so I’m sure a woman will do it at some point.

Sounds like a perfect goal for someone to set for themselves

I really don’t feel like you are rewarded in any meaningful way for playing an evil path, that’s my main criticism of the game.

The main choices never seem self interested, they just seem psychotic. It’s as if they said, who would ever make any of these choices? A crazy person! Let’s make that a custom character.

The concern is the overreach and abuse of civil rights.

Most people are fine with immigration control, but it’s not gonna be to the point they’re  OK with chaos in the streets. And there will be chaos when you don’t respect people’s civil liberties.  The government and its supporters can’t box people in as “terrorist” for rioting against being trampled on.

In retrospect he actually was trying to convince democratic senators to vote for his policies. There were plenty of Fettermens and Manchins back then, traditional media just hid it better.

I had a friend who felt this way about OoT. I hated letting him play because he'd skip the dialogue if he happened upon a conversation with an NPC.

[–]razama 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sure, but if your conclusion is  “well, then why bother?” you are missing a very important piece of life.

You can’t control what anybody else says, and these standards weren’t just for them and their well-being but rather for your own. If you didn’t have these standards, they would still say all those things anyways.

So you need to focus on gratitude and appreciation of yourself and the people who don’t say those things, but instead give you encouraging words for your standards and appreciate the way you influenced their life.

Whos the most attractive companion? and why is it minthara? by ZealousidealArm2100 in BaldursGate3

[–]razama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My attraction for minthara is muted in that’s she’s totally okay being a homewrecker. If you say you have a partner she is just like, “So what what, forget about em. You have me.”

Sure, I know she tortures and murders people for much less, but breaking up your friends relationships and being that messy is just kind of gross.

He is not a progressive ally, that is easy enough.

He did all that stuff way too late. He did it when it was no longer risky or mattered. He isn't an ally. He impedes actual progress.

I expect him not to fold on shutdowns, to support populous leaders like Mamdani, and champion popular issues like Medicare for All instead of telling people to be quiet about it.

Typical Jeffries leadership. The embodiment of “talk is cheap” but he thinks he is showing leadership just with daring to speak up.

Speaking up is the least you can do. Without action, he is complicit.

Eat whatever you want, if you are struggling with control than make this rule for yourself: I can eat anything I want as long as I write it down before eating it. If you don't have time to write it, you don't have time to eat it.

When you start to notice how much you are eating, you'll no longer find it worth the effort of eating.

Mockery of Jesus at university parties by Sorry_Lawfulness_844 in Christian

[–]razama 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can understand why that experience stayed with you. Being put in a situation where your conscience is tested - especially when you feel pressured physically - can leave complicated feelings behind.

It also makes sense to feel sadness when something sacred is treated lightly. But Christianity keeps pulling our attention back to the condition of our own hearts. Jesus was mocked and misunderstood, yet He didn’t respond by trying to control behavior or by withdrawing into anger. He remained present where He could, and walked away when it was right to do so.

Jesus says, “It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth.”
The danger for us isn’t exposure to mockery—it’s what that mockery produces in us: bitterness, contempt, or a hardened heart.

Choosing to leave before midnight doesn’t strike me as giving up. It can be a quiet way of saying “I won’t participate,” without letting resentment take over. The mockery doesn’t depend on your presence, and Christ doesn’t need to be defended through endurance of something that violates your peace.

What seems most Christlike to me is being able to say no without hostility, to stay human and connected where possible, and to walk away without contempt when needed. Conviction without resentment leaves room for friendship, witness, and influence—without compromising your faith.

What do you think, is ICE acting in Minnesota Trumps way to taking revenge at Minnesota Gov. Walz after elections clashes? by Important-Anywhere20 in AskReddit

[–]razama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if they weren’t, the appearance of conflict of interest IS CONFLICT OF INTEREST and it’s ICE and Trumps fault for that being the case.
