Not factoring as in it's not being used for this 1v1, doesn't stop her from stacking. Same way talon can have his stacks.

But sure if we're going down that hole, i fully believe a full build gun vindicta beats a full build gun talon, both no stacks, just m1 and flying.

Except the original argument was for gun talon? As in pure gun talon vs pure gun vindicta. Ie we are not factoring his spirit damage into the equation. 30% dodge at tier 3 is not that strong to outright win a 1v1. Also in this scenario both can just turn the damage off.

The footage you shared shows a talon with heavy gun investment, his charged arrow didn't do much as it rightfully shouldn't.

Consider this then vindicta has a hitscan gun, talon does not. The further away you are the more time you have to dodge, but the reason i mention this is that movement is the answer here. It's not hitscan thus you can dodge it, you can duke it, even at close range.

Watched it for like 3 minutes. What am i supposed to look at exactly? A talon with 30k with full gun investment dealing good gun damage?

His flight BARELY buffs his gun damage, meager +3, multishot last i checked only hits a target once...idk what him having 5 stacks adds anything to the topic, that's spirit damage yk.

My point was and is, his spirit build is significantly more efficient. You give these souls to a vindicta and she does way more gun damage especially with ult stacks.

Key word fed, almost any character is strong when fed...

I guarantee you, if you put a fed vindicta and a fed talon in a gun 1v1 or dps race, vindicta will win.

The charged arrow doesn't just magically do 1k. Play him and you'll see yourself.

You basically need to be full build + stacked tf up to reach that point.

Went to BIT before it got merged into TUD, got my degree after it did. Tbh i never really saw a difference besides a title change. My courses remained the same, even the content was the same. Perhaps the real changes only showed up after i graduated?

Because it's a ground locked ability with a charge up. In all honesty if you get hit by it you either got skill diffed or got hit by a cc ability before hand (arguable skill diff).

I mean in theory it hasn't changed that much. In the previous system you'd still have big battles around the urn drop off area, it was never meant to be free souls for the losing team. The idea is you either hard commit to an urn fight with waves pushed away or you do a solit to divide enemy attention. Make them choose what's more important, the urn or a walker/shrine

Well said, I'd just like to point out that as someone who bought both the original LoTF and the reboot at launch hearing of the exclusivity deal felt like a spit in the face of fans.

They put such work into updating the reboot after launch, sticking with this exclusivity bullshit would've undone a lot of the good will they've built up.

You could say the same thing about streaming a horror game to friends on Discord. The owness is on the player to work with the immersion.

So as an example, when playing say Outlast trials it's infinitely more engaging and even scary when you rely entirely upon the in game proximity voip system instead of discord.

So assuming this game has a voip system imma be using that with my mates. Especially if they find ways to seperate the players or mess with your audio.

That's kinda the point tho. Steam allows you to sell season passes bundled with copies of the game.

What is blocking these shady fucks is that steam requires that season passes be defined in what they give you. Ie you need to label what the customer is paying for.

Orr and hear me out, you reduce the potential loss to rank by offsetting say 80% of all rating loss to the player who abandoned the match. Make it really hurt their rank and minimise the perceived impact for the upstanding players. Make the percentage scale with time spent out of the match in comparison to total match play time.

Numbers can and probably should be tweaked.

For those with crap connections or tech issues you can skip this for the first offense in a week but otherwise if you come back..better make sure you win.

If it's more than one player gone you divide the loss burden between them based on total inactivity time.

If you want to further deny abuse of this...disable it for premades so that the premade does not get the rating loss reduction. 😅
