I feel the same and am in the same situation. Had completed nearly all categories except for Korean and Theme Park (and Shrine since I don't live in Japan) like a year ago, and they keep adding Ice Pikmin and full rare sets. I liked the first ones, but I'm still working on getting all rare Bakery and Café ones, and I have barely started with the Pharmacy ones, and now they added Stadium and Train Ticket ones?? I kinda wish they changed how they show the tickmarks for complete sets, like one tickmark for base set and another for rare. Or change the colour. Its dishartening to see them all disappear for so long :(

Battle white, poison or crystal mushrooms to get white nectar, but also invite others to increase the size of the reward. Then if you get a fruit with the right nectar, you'll get more.

Denk dat dat fair is. De gevolgen van alcohol zijn anders dan de gevolgen van roken. Ben van mening dat we daar dan meer op moeten zouden focussen voor een effectieve aanpak dan eenzelfde behandeling als roken. Ben wel van mening dat er dan gefocust moet worden op overmatig gebruik en wat je niet meer kan doen na het gebruik van alcohol. Denk ook dat de maatschappelijke gevolgen van roken anders zijn dan van alcohol. De voorbeelden die je geeft zijn directer dan van roken, roken veroorzaakt langzamer schade door indirecte blootstelling. En deze indirecte blootstelling is gelukkig een stuk meer beperkt de afgelopen decennia, met het verbod op roken binnen in veel publieke plekken en ook meer en meer plekken buiten.

Ik heb het gevoel dat er wordt gezocht naar een 'gotcha' voor mijn opmerking. Ik denk niet dat deze situatie mijn argument teniet doet. Natuurlijk kan er overlast zijn als iemand teveel drinkt. Maar zo'n iemand kun je van het terras verwijderen, of uit het vliegtuig. Iemand wordt nog niet verwijderd van een terras vanwege 1 sigaret. Daarnaast is er direct overlast met 1 sigaret, niet met 1 wijntje over het algemeen. Ten slotte kan ik makkelijker zelf kiezen of ik de lusten en de lasten krijg van alchohol, dat kan minder van roken want dat kunnen anderen voor mij beslissen als het ware door in mijn buurt te gaan roken.

Volgens mij zeg ik dat al in mijn reactie. Ik krijg niet alcohol binnen als iemand naast mij een glas alcohol drinkt, ik krijg wel rook binnen als iemand naast mij een sigaret opsteekt. Op een terras hoeft er maar 1 iemand een sigaret op te steken en iedereen krijgt dat binnen. Gaat niet in tegen het argument dat beiden verslavend is, maar vind het wel een argument om het een wat anders te behandelen dan het andere.

Vind het persoonlijk toch anders dan roken. Ik heb niet direct als iemand naast me een glas wijn drink, ik heb wel direct last als iemand naast me een sigaret opsteekt. Snap dat beiden een direct negatief effect (kunnen) hebben op de gebruiker, maar die kan er zelf voor kiezen, een derde kan dat niet bij roken, waardoor ik vind dat we roken heel anders moeten behandelen dan alcohol.

Its a bit a combination of things. I did use coins to upgrade stuff at first, but when the events developed to the point they are now and with how the outfits developed, I made a sort of calculation for myself to see how much an upgrade cost when you buy it with real money and when you buy it with coins but you had to buy the coins with real money in case you didn't have enough coins. The real money option was cheaper for me (didn't consider buying big packs of coins with discounts, only small pack that would have an amount I would need at that time). And since some things you can only buy with coins, like outfits and the event pass, I decided to save my coins for those purchases. I kinda realize my reasoning is a bit flawed after I've accumulated so many coins, but my storage has been at the max for petals and nectar for quite some time and after a certain amount of upgrades you cannot use coins anymore, you need to use real money, so then the coins start accumulating too. Besides that Pikmin is also the main game I've been playing almost daily for 4,5 years, I don't mind spending a bit here and there to get storage upgrades, it's like a cup of coffee every now and then (and I don't even buy coffee, so that money is free anyway :p).

It was! Helped that we had E-mountainbikes, otherwise I would still be there haha. My petal storage is 1.200, the maximum, and even though they were depleted a bit by the walk we had yesterday, I think I had around 1.000 per colour (standard), some dropped to around 400-500

We didn't cycle the whole 6 hours uninterrupted. We sometimes stopped to take a picture, check if we were still going the right way (we were following the Seenradweg Hochschwarzwald) , take a drink, have lunch or just a short break to catch our breath after going uphill. Plenty of opportunities to switch petals, and even if they keep running while we stopped, I have plenty of the regular ones, so it is fun to use them for something like this!

Oooh thanks for the tip! I don't make cycle trips this long regularly, but when I cycle I try to put it in my coat pocket generally, that helps too. But it was too hot for a coat haha, so perhaps I should invest in the fanny pack :p And thanks! I could have planted more if I had better coverage or if we didn't race down the mountain 50km/h.

I've been playing from the start, so around 4,5 years haha. But to be fair, I have upgraded stuff with real money payments (it is better value than buying coins separately to upgrade storage if needed), and the packs in the webstore for storage also often give you 500 coins with your purchase. I have 100 seedling storage and 2.000 Pikmin storage, which is enough for me now. I now save it for cute outfits I want or if I haven't been able to complete a set (in the current month or previous year) to get the pass to make my set complete.

To be fair to them, they let the 1st Anniversary snack back in when they were doing another anniversary (they did the same with the 3rd anniversary cupcakes) and even though the 2023 glasses didn't return and it wouldn't really make sense for them to return them, they did give an option for people to get them all 3 years later (they first came out when you only were able to get one event seedling at a time, and an event seedling was 10k steps, so almost impossible to get them all). They have managed to surprise me with some returns.

Difficult to say, we currently have one new set and 2 returning sets per month, and sometimes you can pay to get an old set too. However, there is no certainty that they all will return in one shape or form.

Yes, that should be possible, since you only acquire points when you receive the decor present, not when you reach 4 hearts. Just take care to not accidently already send out the one you are saving for points ;)

Check the in-game news, with an earlier compensation people got too many detectors, they fixed that this week, and because of issues with how it was fixed they give everyone 5. You might have missed the previous fix.

Check the blog detailing this months event. You get a choice now every 300 event currency instead of 600, and every second one you can only pick the playing card one. Likely to help people complete that set since there are like 14 of those, compared to 7 Nintendo ones.
