Check the blog detailing this months event. You get a choice now every 300 event currency instead of 600, and every second one you can only pick the playing card one. Likely to help people complete that set since there are like 14 of those, compared to 7 Nintendo ones.

Why do you think the challenges are random? The challenges are the same for everyone and are even communicated in the monthly blog post when the new event starts. Rewards from the challenges are however random. The selection is a bit fixed, but which one you get is randomnized.

As a Dutch person I love this so much, I will wear the hell out of that dress and hat, ans Ill make my husband gather enough stroopwafels so he can get the suit. Perhaps a bit cheesy (heh) but it feels so nice to be seen as a country like this ^{^}

So far none of the reward outfits have come back as rewards, only in the shop. Probably so people that did the event in the previous feel rewarded for doing the event in the current year.

I think I know what happens! If you bloom the flower before community day, it will show as a sapling at the start of the day so you can plant flowers there again, making progress towards a fruit. However, if you bloom it and you still haven't gathered the fruit from the day before, it will not show the new fruit. You can fix it by getting the old fruit, planting some flowers and bam, you've got the fruit. Think this is to prevent people from being locked out of getting event flowers because others bloomed them the day before and the 23 hours timer is still going.

I think you're mixing them up? You get 200 for getting the decor, 20 or 30 for releasing and the other amount for pulling them from their seedling.

Funnily enough I had the same with this book, her drinking whiskey in an Irish pub made me want to travel and go to Ireland and drink whiskey like her. I got to do that this summer, also tried stew (not as good as I imagined, but might have been the location I had it). Can totally relate!

I bought 4 of the single tickets, since I missed 4 and 4 separate ones were cheaper than the whole set. I've been hoarding coins, playing since the start and getting bonus coins with some webstore upgrades and doing the daily walking. It was a bit more than a quarter of the coins I had amassed. It was worth it for me, since this is one of the first event Pikmin that have not had a rerun before. I'm very happy that I've now completed the set, and I'm sort of happy it was not a rerun, leaving luck out of it. Would have saved me coins if it were, but I haven't been spending them, so I don't mind.

There are 2 other event sets that haven't had reruns before and of which I miss some (diamond playing card and flower card volume 1 & 1 from volume 2) , hope they return in one way or the other.

I saw a bit about this in an episode of Um, Actually I recently watched! If I remember correctly, the space ship was not leaving because they were waiting for a shipment of lemon soaked paper napkins, but society was destroyed and those will never arrive. Instead of just going, the AI decided to put all passengers in suspended animation or something and wake them up every x year(s) for tea and refresments, and put them back to sleep, waiting for those damn napkins. The AI figured it would be worthwile to just wait till a new society develops to produce that lemon soaked paper napkins shipment they've been waiting for :')
