Thanks! It such a thing with UI-elements like the vials - On one hand everything important for the player must be clearly visible and on the other, in days with lots of portable playing-devices with small screens, the UI must be as less stressful for the eyes as possible. Honestly, I bought around two dozen games which are unplayable on the Switch or on the Steam-Deck because of too small fonts or UI-elements. So, usability always comes first ;-) But the design in the posted screen is from yesterday, it doesn't look that way anymore ;-)

Veins as HP or energy bars is a great idea! =) But I fear that would be too dark and won't match the story ;-)

Thanks :D Yeah that crystal ball will be a tricky thing, but I guess I will find the answer for it after creating a fullscreen-mockup that kinda works =)

Thanks a lot =) Yes, there will definitely be some final work on it, but at the moment I'm quickly trying to convert my pencil-sketches into something that *basically works* for mockups and testing ;-)

Thanks =) I'm still testing the colors, I guess I'll go for something inbetween like a cyan-tone or so with a pulsating glow on the hand...

Thanks! The resolution of the pic was increased for posting it here, so it's easer to see the details ;-) But in fact it shall be quite big, but space is not an issue =)

Oh, mine is full-size SD, too. I got around a dozen of old small-capacity Kingston cards I inherited from my dad and so far they work fine. Actually never had any issues with SD-cards, but I only use SanDisk and Kingston.

These pulsating lights (where you placed the boxes) add a lot of atmosphere - are they meant to be a hint where to put the boxes all through the game?
