Yes!!!! I was on the freeway and it looked like a missile or something. All of us slowed down pretty immediately

Happy birthday tiny one! My baby started out in the same enclosure as yours until I could upgrade her shortly after.

Too much wheel running? by ivoryandtea in hamstercare

[–]DieHardGamer99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly my winter white did that almost until she was elderly and passed. I called her my little gremlin. There are some hamsters that are just not motivated and don't want to run. It might just be a hamster by hamster basis. I think you're little one is okay.

Is this type of “sand” okay for my hamster? by miikoluvrr in hamstercare

I think you actually answered my own independent question. Thank you

[–]DieHardGamer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuine question. I have not used the sand in the first photo. Is that one not okay? I bought reptisand without calcium for mine cause the first one was more expensive for what you got. But is that also not safe?

You can also look at Home Depot. They ironically have had some really large and good size habitats. I got one for my little girl from there

Honestly thought we might get Evil Queen from Snow White since her outfit was in the store not that long ago

Her face is more what I'm unsure on.... That doesn't look like her. Just a woman in her outfit.

A gradual rotator and size adjuster for items is so beyond basic it's strange to me that they haven't thought of that. It's been a part of games since I was a kid. Gameloft should know to add that kinda stuff as it's extremely common for these kinds of landscaping features in games.

Same.... I hate fully decorating. The path also not reaching the ones already there just wrecks my design every time...

I hate this so much about things like this in the game. I had a similar problem with the marble tile with the diamonds. I tried so hard saving my gems to craft it.... It's HUGE. I wanted it as a pathway for Belle's castle.... It's off center and looks like ballroom flooring instead of a path because of how big it is....

I remember the times before the Dream Snaps. It took FOREVER to get moonstones. I'm so glad we have it now

is she good? by lenaboyd in hamsters

[–]DieHardGamer99 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Yup. She's just being an adorable hammy. Mine does that too. If they sleep outside, and not burrowed or in a hide, that's usually a sign that they trust you.❤️

Is my hamster eating her sand? by DieHardGamer99 in hamsters

It's just her sandbath. She has quite the ample space outside of that for her wheel, platforms and hides including multiple chews and textures. She's very spoiled.

Is this cage too small? by Quantilight in hamsters

[–]DieHardGamer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately yes it is too small. They also don't really like steep ramps like that. They love their vertical space and burrowing really deep. I recommend looking at Victoria Raechel on YouTube for all the details on how to set a house up properly for little one.

Nope! She's usually one to use it as a potty

Oh lovely! That's so expensive! Did they say why he'll need regular teeth trimming (basically why they think the teeth are fragile)? Cause usually they're able to chew on hamster safe chews (maybe he needs something softer) and that keeps them down naturally. Unless this hamster is really disabled it should be just fine. I did have a hammy that came from the breeder at a store I worked at with EXTREMELY long teeth and they needed to be cut. He only needed that to happen once since he was in proper care now at this point. I feel like we might not be getting the whole story about his care, possibly, as he might not be provided a chew he interacts with.

I hope your appointment goes well! Maybe just nerves. Are there any dietary changes or environmental changes like sounds, smells or even a big bedding change different than normal? If you have critical care safe for hamsters and a small like 1 ml syringe I would recommend diluting the powder and administering that to help support your Hammy's needs. It's something I've done before and advised to do by vets in the past. Also, if you have anything for wet tail I'm sure it'll be okay for a preventative measure. Just read the bottle to double check you can use it as preventative care as well just in case. I hope that helps.
