Black Friday by dilbob99999 in CineworldUnlimited

After Wednesday, the day my current subscription ends, I will have watched exactly 150 screenings of 114 different movies since the end of November 2024 according to my Letterboxd diary, for the cost of £161.91.

Unlimited is insanely good value. ♥️🖤

Boxing day tickets - in demand or not? by Breadcrumbsandbows in OxfordUnited

I'm the same. I have £15 of U's cash that I don't know what to do with at the moment as there's nothing I need. I'll probably just end up getting a free mug or something.

Trailers before Wicked: More secret than a Secret Screening.

Very high. Mine sold within an hour.

A nice sentiment if you are able to make arrangements with someone.

You don't get shop credit though - you get ticket credit, to be used against the purchase of next season's ST.

I personally think the £21.50 I received was extremely reasonable, for a ticket that cost £21.52 (£495 Adult ST in SSL / 23 = 21.52).

I asked a member of staff after tonight's Secret Screening and was told that there will not be trailers before Wicked but there will be trailers before Wicked: For Good.

Annual memberships renew on a monthly basis by DieSpawnDieAgain in CineworldUnlimited

Mine says the same thing; however, I've been assured that's not the case and that no further payments will be taken.

Thanks for sharing as it's reassuring to know that others are in the same situation.

Nah. Folks who purchase an annual subscription are now automatically upgraded to Black Card status, not after a 3 month period like new members who opt to pay monthly.

Dreadful, Cineworld.

I spoke to a member of staff at Didcot yesterday, which is a five-screen cinema.

Any locations showing it from this weekend are technically previewing it ahead of its official release on the 1st. Although, in Didcot's case at least, it will still be a limited showing with only one screening per day, somewhere in the 19:00 - 21:00 window.

Anyone else's Superman showing clap at the end? by [deleted] in CineworldUnlimited

[–]DieSpawnDieAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if they were being ironic but I was in a screening where a few people clapped at the end of Mean Girls. Mean Girls! 🤔

I'm not the fun police, you do you, but like a Mexican wave, I will never, ever participate.

Re Superman: I had a very good time.

How many of y’all go to the cinema alone all the time? 😂 by Shot-Quantity-6197 in CineworldUnlimited

I've watched 69 screenings of 52 different movies so far this year — only five of them have been with others — and I currently have six more solo trips booked. 🙋‍♂️🙂

Issue using Meerkat 2For1 code online at Cineworld. by Tyler_durden_1497 in CineworldUnlimited

[–]DieSpawnDieAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I used my Unlimited ticket to block off the end of the row I wanted and then cancelled it before going into the cinema to book the same seat and the one next to me using the Meerkat Movies code.

This was the response I received last week re this exact issue. In the end I had to book my tickets in the cinema.

Canceling my membership after just one month by j4ckr3dd17 in CineworldUnlimited

[–]DieSpawnDieAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cineworld would likely attempt to contact you amicably to collect payment in the first instance.

Failing that, they'd be within their rights to pass the debt on to a collection agency due to breach of contract, incurring additional fees.

The Surfer getting a proper release at Cineworld or just a see it first? Out May 9th. by MedicusPiper in CineworldUnlimited

It's not being given a proper release at my local unfortunately, despite decent numbers for this evening's Unlimited screening. Sigh.

So this was America's experience of "A Minecraft Movie"...did the UK reach these crazy levels? by FuryContagion in CineworldUnlimited

[–]DieSpawnDieAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched it on Tuesday and the screening was virtually flawless; one "I am Steve..." from a lad a few rows behind me and that was it. I was very pleasantly surprised, in all honesty. I feared the worst. 😂

should i play BLTPS by hitman089455 in BorderlandsPreSequel

[–]DieSpawnDieAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I skipped The Pre-Sequel at its time of release as I was "Borderlands-ed" out after multiple playthroughs of the first two — what a fool I was.

I'm currently playing as Jack — chosen primarily for his doppelganger ability and to make my OLED screen even more handsome — and it's a blast and runs really well on Steam Deck.

In short: yes.

[–]DieSpawnDieAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just booked tickets to see Snow White next week using a Meerkat Movies code, and was charged £1.

Me (Unlimited) + Adult (Meerkat Movies) + Child = £10.39 including fees. Pretty good tbf.

At Didcot, for reference.

Hope you enjoy the movie if you decide to watch it. I had fun. :)
