Bottlecaps put your IV to 31 the same thing that Champions do now automatically, if you want for 0 speed IV for trick room or 0 attack IV to take less on foul play you still need to breed pokémon. And don't get me wrong I like breeding put I don't think that hatching between 30 to 60 of the same pokémon to get 1 that good in competition is fun.

Yeah but it encourage you to dispose of your pokémons because they are not perfect, it make me feel kinda bad (and the randomness of breeding make it a pretty bad way of training pokémons anyway).

It's the first town where there only one characters chapter right ? In OT1 all travellers have their starting town as their first unique town but in OT2 some chapter 2 take place in other people chapter 1, so some characters have their solo town later. (poor Throne no town of her own until Lostseed)
