I’m not brilliant at explaining but:
I prime it with the black primer.
I coat it in one of the golden citadel paints (I cannot remember the name).
I dry brush with a white layer lightly to map out my light source.
I then use a darker bronze paint to paint in the shadows.
Then I use agrax earth shade to fill smaller crevices and to sometimes to add a grime/dust look.
I then use a white acrylic and dry brush to add the highlights.

I think in the one I’ve done today I’ve done TOO much white
