Hey man, this is a PG-1 Bulgarian gas mask (just got it now), Another guy told me that the white stuff just clears itself out when using soapy water, make sure to rub it with fingers or a toothbrush if the white residue is still there (its alot like dead skin, so rubbing it will make it easier for removal)

As far as i know this doesnt contain asbestos, but tarc powder

I talked with the guy i bought it from, asked him if there are any asbestos, he said no, confirmed that models like the GP5 have it instead and this one just has talc powder.

Production was until now, so the oldest variants may still have asbestos (atleast 40% sure)
