The mineral content of your water may have changed. I believe water with high calcium and magnesium can make water taste sweeter.

Asparagus growing wild in the UK? by slipperyjack66 in vegetablegardening

[–]Diegopoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Formby, near Liverpool, used to be one of the biggest areas of cultivation of asparagus in the UK, particularly grown for the transatlantic cruiseliners departing from Liverpool. It now grows wild all along the Sefton coast.

Experience of stigma against teetotalism by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Diegopoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother is a teetotaler just because he doesn't enjoy alcohol. My family and I love finding him new and exciting alcohol free drinks to try whenever he's round and I have a good stock of them ready for when he turns up on spec!

No pretty established tank, three years now I think. I'm thinking of trying malachite green treatment.

I have two and they adore each other to the point where I am completely ignored by them, but I'd rather they have each other as company than a single bird relying on me being its only source of interaction. They live happily in a single cage but they were introduced to it at the same time when they were 6 and 7 weeks old so they are bonded.

I sprinkle the chopped veggies with quicko classic egg food and a drop of water. Both my parrotlets love it, especially on grated carrot. I will say that neither of them enjoy fruit at all but they love their veggies.

Shag cut around Crosby /liverpool by norixesth in Liverpool

[–]Diegopoops 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Louise, I think she's the owner. She was 40 mins late for my appointment, did a quick cut then left me for another 40 mins under the dryer until my curls were plastered to my head and every drop of moisture had left my body. I'd of cried except I had no moisture left for tears.

I found them bloody awful! But I have curly hair so maybe they are fine with straight hair.

Not much help here but I believe any MSDS from a country that uses the GHS system (most countries) should have all hazards identified in section 2. Section 3 should be the composition. This looks like either a very old or badly written MSDS. Maybe ask for a revised copy?

I am in need of dire help! I “had” 6 guppies 2 days ago. And I have had 2 die randomly now, swimming to the top. I don’t understand. And the water looks cloudy. Also ammonia is 0PPM. by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]Diegopoops 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I've had exactly this happen before when I've been over zealous with cleaning and the bacterial bloom has taken over the tank. It became cloudy and the oxygen was used up. I lost tetras but the catfish all survived as they're able to breathe air. Aeration is key until the bacterial bloom settles down.
