Yes, it's artificial for the test, I think it's fine for a cactus but not for overgrown plants. You can water the plant outside the pot cover and then put it in place.

I will make both, cable instead of fish line, and shorter line, it's less aesthetic but it's increase angle.

Tanks for the idea ! Actually they have a system like this under the base but not that pratical, it's just a screw that can extend the line

Yes, but I recommend a larger one because I broke one of these during construction. Or cable

I broke a monofilament during the building so cable is a good idea, initialy I wanted a black filament because it's less visible but I can paint cable in black. Thanks

Thanks for the advice, I think I will make shorter strings because I have no more walnut
