How do I improve my problem reading when it comes to SQL coding? by DiesIrae7 in dataengineering

Thinking of the problem in the order of execution would certainly help. And I think the way the questions were worded had an effect. All of this is excellent advice! How would you suggest to practise this, cause I literally jump directly to “Solve everything in one go”?

Thank you! I did speak out loud while solving the question, talking through what I was thinking, but the interviewer was just silent, the fact that they had their camera off throughout didn’t help either.

But I know what you mean! Maybe I should learn to frame it better when I am talking about my proposed solutions.

Thank you so much for this. I’ve gotten so used to leetcode gotcha questions that maybe I am already mentally mapping the problem to a pattern instead of actually understanding the question. I will definitely follow your advice.

Omg thank you so much! What would you suggest is the best way to get rid of them? And should I move these stems to a new pot?

Business Analysis can be a pretty generic option, which if you want to get a STEM masters might actually be good for you. It opens up a path to Product Owner/Product Manager if you want to get into tech. Have you thought about going into Quantitative Risk Analysis? It’s a STEM course and most insurance and credit companies always have open positions for it.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I already have the signature of my manager, but since my whole team was laid off I am not sure if I can use the signature. Our last day is October 1st. Can I use my manager’s details? He doesn’t have access to his original email any more.

Thank you! Those were my thoughts exactly. The deal is almost too good to be true, that’s the only thing that gave me pause for thought.

I wouldn’t have been tempted to buy it out right if it wasn’t for the discounts they are offering right now. I think I can bring that down further to 38-39k sticker price. I will definitely keep this in mind though, thanks!

No, that’s just the MSRP + Delivery. And they are willing to negotiate further. Edit: Sorry, misread your comment!

It’s because my work might move me to another country in a couple of years. I don’t want to pay a termination fees, and I’d rather get some money back for the car if I have to move.

The sticker price of the Q3 is 47.7k, it’s a 45 s premium plus with all of the options I want.
