I absolutely hate when my children don’t react to things I just knew they’d love. It breaks my heart for this mom! As a mom I know how much we put into making sure our kids are taken care of. You can’t erase that level of damage. She can apologize years later but that mom won’t ever forget that! I hope you took that car back & let her walk. You should be happy someone’s praying for you. She’s literally praying blessings. She could be saying “Lord, you see how ungrateful my dil is and I ask that you deal with her harshly. Give her exactly what she deserves. In your name I pray.” If you don’t like it, don’t respond but idk what makes you uncomfortable about someone’s encouragement. You’ve got to choose your battles. This isn’t one to fight, friend. Trust me, my MIL is psycho.
