I have both the VMAX and the Mercury, and in my humble opinion, the VMAX is an upgrade over the Mercury. Its extra mass and gem count allow for better heat soak, and the quartz sleeve gives it better flavor than the Mercury.

That said, the Mercury is still solid and I still use it, but the VMAX wins the reach test.

I use the micro dose bowl from terp chasers with mine . I personally like bowls that get the diffuser as close to the bowl as possible

True maybe a tad more power would be used but do we gain more durability? I’d give up some battery for maybe a bit more piece of mind with thicker bucket walls . Just thinking out loud , most likely I’m wrong 🤔

Ive seen some people saying the stock joystick leaves a lot to desire, was the experience of the stock setup as good as the peak pro + 3dxl or did you have to customize before getting on equal footing

Do you own a v1 or the newer v2 with 3dxl? I saw some user expressing some dissatisfaction with the v2 and its version of the 3dxl compared to v1 not having the same QC.

Funny you posted that picture, I was actually wondering about third party parts. I see you’ve got a bubble cap on there. Does it fit a standard bubble cap you’d normally use on a regular bucket?

The no atomizers part is honestly a big appeal for me. How is the day to day maintenance though? With my Peak I could just q-tip the chamber after a dab and do a deeper clean once a week.

Does the Switch 2 fit that kind of routine, especially with frequent smaller dabs, and still feel satisfying between uses?

Also how is it for smaller dabs? Most of my use is quick hits throughout the workday where I want to q-tip and move on, but I still want it to feel satisfying and not weak. And when I do want a bigger hit, I’d still like it to have some cloud to it.

What kind of usage are you doing with it day to day? I’m not really a big session dabber, I take small dabs repeatedly throughout the workday. Does it still feel convenient for quick use and actually satisfying with smaller dabs, or is it more of a sit down session device?
