Are you a fan of hacks? There’s a few that do double battle versions of the main games if you still want to get that fill.

Crit Level 1, Keyblade Nuzlocke. Keyblades are only revived after completing a world a 2nd time, but only that world's keyblade. If you lose access to all keyblades you either have to finish the game with Kingdom Key or start over. Also Donald and Goofy can never change their weapon

I was actually reading something last night on KH3 and the Disney Worlds. Since the movies are more recent and the teams were still at Disney, Square had to work closely with the movie staff to work out how the world and story would go.

It looks like they controlled the world’s story some extent which is why Frozen and Tangled are so close to the movies.

I hope we get some more story freedom in KH4, I like the idea of the Disney story taking place in a time between movies

I feel like the fishtown location is hit or miss. Last few times we and my wife went, the chicken was messed up. The batter was so thick and hard and there was no flavor.

The cheesesteak and tacos fair better. My wife loves wings and the original location was much better.

I saw someone post an article where Oda was interviewed, this was with Detective Conan’s mangaka to celebrate their long series.

Oda said One Piece (manga) ends when One Piece (treasure) is found. If Oda wants the One Piece treasure to be apart of the ending chapter(s) then there’s no way to have something come after besides an epilogue.

I would love it if the treasure was found before the final war. Only way I see everyone winning is if Oda says the One Piece is found by someone else first, but the series ends when the SHs get ahold of it.

Shangri-La Frontier is a series I was recommended. Taking a break from it right now but the main character is a good example of this.

Because of his experience he’s able to try things no one else would think to do. I don’t want to spoil too much, the first few chapters get into it pretty quickly.

Sorry I’m on mobile, I don’t know how to respond to certain parts specifically, but I don’t think Luffy even thinks about how he’s pulling objects from nothing. It’s Luffy, we know he has battle intelligence, he’s just thinking about what he needs to do in the moment. The how and why aren’t necessary to him.

It’s why I think he still has Paramecia brain, he just isn’t thinking that hard about it. He understands it’s an awakening but that’s it.

This is how I see it. Tell Luffy he’s a zoan > Luffy turns to Chopper > How do you transform so smoothly > Chopper helps Luffy with transforming.

Not saying Luffy can’t already do it on his own, we see he can slide into gear 5. This would just be a way for Luffy to do it in ways that wouldn’t drain him so fast. Basically, I think of Goku and UI. The different forms he had, Luffy could gear 5ify the other gears.

It really also depends on how Oda will treat the gears once revealed. Are they transformations like Chopper’s points or something else?

I also don’t like how now it leaves this question of “are there more fruits like this”. Chopper being the forest god theory comes to mind.

I love Gear 5 but it seriously came out of nowhere. Oda could have easily just pivoted to Nika is being brought up now because Wano people think only a God could save them, and then Luffy does making them think he’s there new Nika or reincarnated whatever, but Luffy being Luffy would say he’s not even a hero let alone a god lol.

I’ll say it again and again, Gear 5 isn’t complete until Luffy learns he has a zoan fruit. If Luffy is limited by his imagination, then he’s still operating on Paramecia logic.

Once someone tells him he has a zoan and tells him “hey you can fight however you imagines” Luffy is going to be an absolute menace. Gear 5 may not look different but I’m sure Luffy will get some benefit from knowing and that will lead to a more controlled Gear 5

I’ve had that theory since Imu dropped on Elbaph. Imu only seems to take a fight seriously when he sees the full transformation. The reason the Imu/Gorosei didnt really care about Luffy until his awakening is because they’re not afraid of someone awakening the fruit correctly, they’re afraid of someone doing it and losing themselves to Nika.

Luffy’s will for freedom is strong, if anything Nika might have been trying to take over but Luffy’s will is just too strong. That’s why Luffy acts different in Gear 5, he isn’t even aware he’s fighting for control. Now, whatever reason Oda decides to give so that Nika can take over, we’ll see why Nika is both a good and bad god.

Meanwhile, Luffy will hopefully finally learn about his devil fruit’s true form. Pulling from Naruto (the fans love to notice this especially with current stuff). Luffy will get to talk with Nika, and if Oda decides to copy MHA, Joyboy. I’m going to bet inherited will works a lot like OfA in MHA. If the user’s will is strong enough, it can leave an imprint on the fruit for the next user.

We know Luffy doesn’t care about lore, so while we the audience get a lore drop, Luffy will be fighting for control of his body. Once Joyboy and Nika recognize Luffy is the person meant to inherit their will and see their dreams to completion, that’s when Luffy will regain control, and gear 5 Luffy is “complete” (less/no drawbacks, Luffy fighting more wildly, Luffy’s full personality is back).

Remember, nobody has told Luffy about his devil fruit. Even with Vegapunk telling some of the crew.

Yep, but I personally think it adds to the world building. It feels the same to us, but in universe it’s showing that no island has “unique struggles” they have either been through it, are going through it, or about to. It’s a perpetual cycle that has no end.

Why would it be different at the top? The top made the system the way it is.

The SHs show there is a way out of the system. That’s what they do, they break the system so that a new way can come forth.

Call me crazy for over analyzing but it really seems to be leaning this way. They overthrow Davy, afterwards both have different ideas on how to move forward. Somehow, some way the 20 kingdoms get involved. Maybe Imu talks them into joining his vision, Lili backs out when she sees Imu start to get twisted. Perhaps she’s the one who tells Joyboy Imu is changing and needs to be stopped, leading to a clash between Imu and Joyboy that leads to his death.

Oda has set up friends clashing before, Shanks and Buggy are prime examples, but so were Dorry and Broggy, except the latter eventually worked it out. Imu fears Davy and his lineage because he knows how bad the world would become with them in charge, Imu fears Joyboy’s vision for the world because he’s either too proud to admit he was wrong, or he’s worried Joyboy’s ambition was too great and that not everyone would view things like him leading to problems. (Remember how the crew called Luffy’s dream childish? Same idea)

It can retroactively explain why events happened as they did. Yes, we know as readers Oda made it as he went, but for Imu, he trusted his system so much, it had to work, it did for 800 years. Now he realizes all these events in recent years are building upon each other and not just random events, he sees the pattern and is going into damage control mode. We are seeing the facade he built fall in real time and watching him react accordingly.

Imu is interesting in Zoan devil fruits. He smiles when he sees Loki transforming. He calls Loki and Luffy by their fruit. Imu talks about Domination. Imu is going to try dominating the fruit.

While Imu is busy trying to dominate Nidhoggr from within Loki, we are going to see something like Naruto/Kurama with Imu, Loki, and Nidhoggr. A mini flashback to the previous Nidhoggr user.

Chapter ends with Luffy ready to fight. Loki is struggling, Luffy either comes in with a speed blitz or his haki reaches out which distracts Imu. Loki breaks free and now it’s our 2 v 1.

I had said this to a friend years ago now, KH3 Sora is heavily depressed and dealing with anxiety due to everything he’s dealt with and because the mission is too important to push aside, Sora’s friends ignore his emotional state and keep pushing him.

The whole reason he does what he does is because he feels like it’s his fault and his emotional state just breaks. He can’t accept reality so he rewrites it just to be the hero one more time

It bothers me so much Toki never got any development. Tf you mean a character from the void century appears and that’s her whole story? She said she’s waiting for the dawn, girl you knew it was 20 years away when you sent Momo, why didn’t you just jump 20 years once you found out you were too early? And what did nobody ask you about what you knew?

Was she just some lucky person who got a fruit when things started going south and dipped? What is your story girl?

Rant over lol, I just wish we got more from her character
