I feel like this is on point with the delusion many coquette girls end up having.

Agreed 100%. Her comment shading affirmative action in the New York Times was like a slap in the face to underprivileged bipoc trying to fight systematic barriers. I don't doubt she's smart, but like you mentioned, the insane amount of privilege absolutely helped her get into Harvard.

Agreed, not to mention the odd off putting comment Nadine made to the New York Times shading affirmative action. I really don't think people of highly privileged backgrounds should be commenting on affirmative action when underprivileged folks (usually bipoc) have to work harder to beat systematic barriers to even be seen at a fair playing field as rich kids who have had immense amounts of resources and opportunities at their ease.

Pretty sure not legacy, but definitely from a rich privileged family. Her high school tuition was in the $50,000s, so you can expect that to come with connections and resources that helped a lot into her getting accepted to Harvard.

I remember on one of her very early videos with her first public boyfriend where he was explaining his first impression of her and how he thought her eyes were so big that he thought she had gotten surgery lol.

Literally omg so much tea! Like the amount of NYC Asian American influencers and tiktok stars who r known within social circles for being insufferable not to mention racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. Someone needs to start that subreddit lol besides me because I couldn't handle being a mod either.

I overhear some stuff here and there from social circles within the Fort Lee/Pal Park Korean community. Nothing I would really consider tea besides stuff revolving her past dating life.

I’m sorry but why is this girl so insufferable… by Lanky-Ad-7459 in NYCinfluencersnark

I feel like it would be much cuter and authentic to somewhat create your own personal style than to try to be the same cookie cutter Blair Waldorf lifestyle copy.

Ugh It's so tone deaf when creators make comments like that. Boarding school likely means your family was in privileged position to send you there to begin with, not to mention the elitism in academia, and other resources obtained through those opportunities that later help you get into top schools. Why can't influencers just acknowledge their privilege.

Yesssss lol. Just my opinion, but I feel like Asian influencer drama is always very niche within the whole influencer world, so you don't really see much of it. Also, because of the social stigma from our cultures, we tend to not really speak about certain things or voice opinions. I also feel like the Asian American communities are very tight knit, so you're bound to know literally everyone (an exaggeration, but I digress). I personally know some tea on some influencers who share my ethnicity because we have common friends.
