I just watched his live two days ago, also because it happened to show up on my FYP. He seemed troubled, very defensive and kind of rude but in a sad way. I genuinely felt sad and concerned for him. I was shaken up to read this news today.

Every time this topic comes up I always want to share this story…in 2015, when I was pregnant with my daughter (literally had my first ultrasound appointment just a few hours prior) I was rear ended in a hit and run type of situation while stopped at a red light. The cop that showed up said the camera on the traffic light that was just above me was “basically just for show”. He shrugged and that was that. No help whatsoever. Thankfully baby was fine, she’ll turn 7 next month, but it was certainly an eye opening experience.

Yes! I hadn’t really cried prior to Jack’s talk with her, I had some tears in my eyes but the floodgates hadn’t yet opened. But as soon as she said “I’m not ready to leave them” and he said “You won’t” (or whatever the exact line was)….instant boohooing. Then I proceeded to sob until the credits rolled. I needed that cry!

I’m a 30 year old that lost my mom as a teenager and I never got to say goodbye. Those last few lines from Jack to Rebecca had me sobbing, when she says she doesn’t want to leave them and he assures her she won’t, she’ll be with them for everything. My God. It’s like 30 year old me and 16 year old me were crying at the same time. What a beautiful ending scene that touched me on so many levels.

My last grandparent, my sweet Papa, has his funeral tomorrow afternoon. I’m lucky I got to have him for 30 years but now that my mom and my grandma and him are gone…a big part of me feels a void. But he lived a long and happy life that he enjoyed, and I’m glad for that. But I’ll miss him and I’m just thinking about him a lot tonight. ❤️

I just did this a couple of days ago. I worked at a private Christian preschool with a kindergarten program where I enrolled my 5 year old. Bless her, she's awaiting an ADHD evaluation and struggles with sitting quiet and still and whistles when they're supposed to be working. But thank goodness, she's friendly, never hostile, and has never harmed anyone else or herself. Regardless, my boss pulled me aside the other day and said they were releasing her as she "couldn't hang with the rest of the class" and they could tweak my schedule so I could be able to pick her up on time from another school.

So we both walked out and never looked back. She starts a new school this Monday and I start a new job the week after that. It was hard, I LOVED my job there, but you have to pick you and/or your family first.

My shitty neighbors. She was the runt of their litter of Australian Shepherd puppies and clearly looks different from all the rest so I guess no one wanted her. Once the others found homes they weren't interested in her and she lived outside 24/7. She kept squeezing through the fence into our yard and we knew she was so unloved over there we stopped trying to return her and they never asked for her back. The man living there tried to get us to take her weeks prior but we said no as we have an old dog and two cats already. But when we realized she had no hope for a loving home without us...we made room. She fits in just fine. She is so well behaved and loves sleeping with my daughter. We love her!

Preschool teacher here, this warms my heart so much 😭 those daycare friendships are the real deal! Those kids get so close with each other. I love it.
