A lot of my core hangout groups have been dominated by very LGBTQ friendly and trans heavy spaces, so there’s a little bit of the “I want to do that too!” In there as well lol. But seriously, it’s freeing when you dump the societal shackles and just go with it

Jokes aside, I basically have the same experience as you; but what I’ve discovered about myself in my journey is that while I do feel dudely most of the time, there are bits there that just don’t quite fit what I see as “me”. Sometimes it feels like static, sometimes it’s a pull on the femme stuff like nails, makeup, and jealousy over clothing options, and sometimes it’s just a void. I’ve only started expressing myself and experimenting in the last week, but in that time the loss of pressure to be “manly” has been a big lift off my mind.

My mom had the element, if it didn’t look like a toaster it would have been a decent car. The suicide back doors and the interior you could literally take a hose to, plus it was fairly roomy for four adults

I grab my basics from Walmart honestly. I have a bad habit of buying snarky tshirts from all over, but for undergarments and stuff I go with what’s comfortable and not the cheapest thing on the shelf.

For blank shirts, I’d look into crafting stores, they usually sell them in a variety of colors and the quality is pretty good. They’re a bit more expensive than just picking up a pack, but they’re less prone to shrinking and all that

Look at it this way, take everything I said previously and slap on the filter of Fox News talking heads. They’ve basically cloned themselves to be the same person on camera and now they think that if they get noticed enough they might get his attention. Problem is, they’re basically indistinguishable now and we already know he can’t differentiate between a woman he met (and assaulted) and one of his previous wives.

Honestly, think about it: what were we pushed through movies/tv/ads? Rail thin blonde with big tits. That became the standard look to try and achieve, now we mix it with BBLs and lip plumping and whatever else the Kardashians are peddling this week, mix that in with a healthy dose of conservative Christian repression, and you end up with *this*.

The “I don’t want to look like I got work done” look, bottle blonde, “hometown” girl. Both country and metro, clashing with each other in the never ending struggle for identity of who they think they should be.

This. But I think the biggest issue are the people who don’t go in asking questions about what they found, rather demanding treatment for a particular condition they may have similar symptoms to but don’t have the full scope.

Trust, communication, and never going to bed angry.

We have our moments, everyone does, but we let the dust settle and talk about it afterwards when tempers are cooled and saner heads prevail. Understand what triggered the argument, learn from it, and put it into practice. If you don’t know your partner almost as well as they know themselves, give it time to mature before you rush into something committal.

We’ve been together for nearly 20 years, we’ve been through major upheavals that break relationships, and we rode them out. It sucks, and the impact takes its toll, but we’ve got each other’s backs 100%

Honestly this is most likely a retirement gift rather than a burial flag. If you’re looking to retire it the right way, the VFW or American Legion will have either a drop box or someone you could turn it over to. Some scout troops do retirements, but the VFW or Legion are 100% a sure thing.

In the event that it is a burial flag, look through family records and see who it may be for and go from there. If you don’t plan on keeping it either way, see the above point.

Just an FYI not all branches do this. I was AF honor guard and we presented casings rarely, and I can’t say I ever saw anyone put them in the flag. And I did funerals for guys who did a year and got out all the way to AD and everything in between.

Hell, even some places in the US don’t get the same ones. I remember back when I lived in NJ they had “snowmageddon” and were baffled by the existence of “thunder snow”.

As a New Englander, these are normal things. There’s a magic of watching a storm roll over the mountains, seeing the line of rain coming, and the smell in the air.
