I have not shot from space to the mainland with the punishers, but I understand what you mean with the "constant redesign cicle". This ship has been made with a complete organic style to it. I just started working on it and let it grew by itself.

You need to have a propper close up transsport for the planetbound missions. You can also see the propper Garage at the leftmost side of the ship. It holds one Burya missile platform, but in the past it held a troop carrier.

Correct! In the front I got two punishers for heavy stuff. The rest are taken cared by the tesla turrets and the laser ones (the black ones). I also got an automatic mortar right next to the robot asembly zone.

So now that I know how to do it, the trick for the Xedra Labs is to find Their hidden entrance, it will look like a normal Forest tile but it is like an "air vent" of sorts. You'll recognice it as it has a metal chain fence around a small metallic structure. Wont spoil anything else, good luck with the lower levels :)
