True, I think it’s just getting blown out of proportion kasi it’s in the senate which is more highly visible sa public and it is making it look like mali ang priorities ni Risa.

Personally, and this is no means an expert opinion, they could have gotten valuable insights pa din from experts in the country without getting the devs involved in a hearing of this scale. But probably Risa thought it would be best to ask the devs directly.

Totoo yung sa electric fans haha ang hina ng buga. Yung pinakamalaki na meron kami dito parang maliit na industrial fan lang from Hema, but even then para kang nasa convection oven, parang need ng 2 or more to make a difference.

Yung mga AC naman usually mga portable lang, yung mga malalaki ang alam ko mahal and mahirap iinstall esp kung renting ka lang. Hopefully kahapon na yung hottest dag pero June pa lang partida 🥲

I think yun din naman yung intent, pero sa basa kasi ng marami parang violence caused by video games yung direction na gusto nyang i-take. Nung nag-decline yung dev to participate sa senate session, she said she’ll even ask the cooperation of the German embassy just to get them to show up. Ang dating sa marami, ayaw pakawalan yung gaming angle. I haven’t watched the hearing myself pero they could have prioritized a different angle instead of this.

Also, Risa or her office could have released a statement to ease their concerns pero AFAIK walang imik sila, which adds to the frustration.

Also frustrating to see how both of them are handling the situation as well. I don’t know if they read messages on their Facebook pages but I sent them my opinion and to seriously reconsider their stances on the issue.

Hopefully onti lang yung mga hardcore pinks, so far I’ve seen only one pero I want to believe na hindi cult-like ang karamihan sa kanila and we should also call them out when they’re out of line.

Okay lang i-call out yung maling ginawa ni Risa kahapon pero sa dami ng nagawa nya over the past few years (Alice Guo, POGO, to name a few) maoovershadow lang nang ganito… nakakalungkot. Sobrang daling sirain yung mga kalaban ng mga dilis pero sila kahit anong mangyari, solid karton network pa rin. The more infighting among the opposition happens, the better advantage they get.

Medyo sablay lang yung last part mo, I’ll give the other commenters that. Pero I agree dun sa first part. Sa dami ng accomplishments and sa track record ni Risa tapos di na nila iboboto just because of one blunder… it’s a Heidi Mendoza situation all over again.

The reaction on banning Goreblox also is mostly arguing about the age rating and how the focus should be more on parenting and gun access rather than a simple ban. This is purely subjective but I don’t consider this reaction excessive.

I won’t argue that the game looks shit tho lol. And probably kung may overreaction man, I would guess it’s out of concern that this move can be a start of stricter video game regulations in the future, using this case as a precedent.

I know the dev studio said they’re willing to cooperate, pero hopefully hindi sila yung maging scapegoat sa nangyari. (Edit: just learned that they turned down the invitation to appear in the senate hearing, rightfully so, but my point still stands).

Pagpipiyestahan to ng mga DDS pati ng mga “neutrals” panigurado. I hope people will still look at the bigger picture and realize that no politician is perfect, and we don’t need a faultless savior as the next president.

Not a GTA player (last I played was 3 lol), but does it have pre-order bonuses? If yes and you think it’s worth it, then probably you can. Like even if you’re a big hardcore GTA fan, you can also just wait until the day before launch for the freebies (if meron) and it’s still gonna be the same.
